    摘要: A fixing device for an injection nozzle, in particular, for an injection nozzle of an internal combustion engine with direct fuel injection. The injection nozzle includes a nozzle holder body whose cylindrical first and second end pieces interact with a first and a second bore hole of components of the internal combustion engine. For easy mounting and leakproof fastening of the injection nozzle, a clamping device acts upon the nozzle holder body. The clamping device holds in place, with a defined prestress, the first end piece in the first bore hole of a cylinder head. The second end piece preferably works together with the second bore hole of an intake arrangement, with the help of a reduction sleeve.

    摘要: A water-cooled cylinder head is provided for a multicylinder internal-combustion engine having two inlet and outlet valves per cylinder. The cylinder head has a cylinder head cooling space with inflow and outflow openings for the coolant which is integrated in the cylinder head housing and extends above a spherical cap forming a combustion chamber trough. Water cooling spaces are formed at least in areas around a receiving opening for a spark plug arranged centrally in the cylinder head housing and around the two outlet valves. The water cooling spaces are mutually connected by way of a common annulus section. At least the common water cooling jacket annulus section has an essentially constant height toward the combustion chamber trough, so that, at least in this area, the wall thickness of the spherical combustion chamber cap extends in a uniform manner and to close to the combustion chamber trough.

    摘要: A rotatable stud framing guide for aligning a first stud with a second stud includes a base, a rotatable arm, and a lockable retaining pin. The base includes a pair of angle flanges for securing the base to adjacent surfaces along the length of the first stud. The rotatable arm includes compression flanges for securing the rotatable arm to opposing surfaces at the end of the second stud. The lockable retaining pin includes a clevis pin, an eccentric cam lever, and a cotter pin that secures the eccentric cam lever to the clevis pin. The lockable retaining pin passes through pivot holes in the base and rotatable arm to provide an axis of rotation for the rotatable arm and maintain the rotatable arm in proximity to the base. The eccentric cam lever selectively locks the rotatable arm at a desired angle to align the second stud with the first stud.

    摘要: In a valve gear-mechanism for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine, the inlet valves (E1, E2) are actuated optionally by first cams on a camshaft via first finger levers (7) or by second cams via second finger levers (9), the first and second finger levers being separate or linked together by coupling pins (13) to which a pressure medium can be applied via a longitudinal channel (15) in the finger lever shaft. In order to be able to cut individual cylinders out, the first cams allocated to the inlet valves (E1) of the cylinder concerned have a zero-lift contour and in the longitudinal channel (15) there is a sealed section (15a) allocated to one of said valves (E1) which can individually be connected to a source of pressure medium so that, when the supply of pressure medium is interrupted, the inlet valves of said cylinder are stopped and, on connection to the source of pressure medium, the inlet valves are actuated in accordance with the contour of the second cam.
