The apparatus additionally includes an intermediate limit switch that is activated in response to the portion being moved to an intermediate position on the guided path. The apparatus also includes a processing device configured to calibrate the apparatus based on a first reading corresponding to a first position on the guided path and a second reading corresponding to a second position on the guided path. The processing device verifies the calibration based on a third reading corresponding to the intermediate position.

    摘要： A method and system is disclosed which permits a user to save user defined viewing configuration, also referred to as a bookmark as a separately manipulatable or transferable entity without altering the underlying image data and maintaining, where desired, the association between the bookmark 200 and the underlying source image data. The disclosed system and method act to save the bookmark by saving the succession of system inputs, which, in conjunction with the system characteristics and system parameters, achieve the desired viewing configuration. Thereby, the disclosed system and method permits review of the inputs used to manipulate the image to confirm the process by which a diagnosis or anatomical measurement was made, permits the replay of a sequence for presentation or training purposes to effectively demonstrate not only the end result, but the methodology as well. The disclosed system and method further permits the user to save the system parameters as set for a desired given viewing configuration of a 4D image sequence in addition to or in lieu of saving the system inputs. In this way, the desired viewing configuration is preserved while maintaining the integrity of the underlying image data. In addition, the disclosed system and method further permit the user to maintain or terminate the association of the bookmark 200 with the entirety of the source image data, or just a portion thereof.

    摘要： Storage and/or review of medical data are provided with interactive features of a video format. One or more examinations are stored in a DVD format. Using a standard format, standard equipment may be used to view the stored examinations. Interactive features of the video format allow navigation. Chapter selection allows choices of different examinations, patients or other information on the media. Parental controls are used to protect confidentiality. Measurements are available through selection of an overlay menu. Different views, renderings, annotations, measurements or other medical information are available by selecting of different recordings of the examination or image. Separate programs may not be needed to view the data. Other data may be stored in other formats for use by separate programs, such as storing DICOM information on a same media.
