摘要: A gas turbine engine carburetor includes a fuel injector having a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart fuel outlets. A plurality of air swirlers (24) are circumferentially spaced apart around the fuel injector (22), with each swirler having a fuel inlet (24b) disposed in flow communication with a respective one of the fuel outlets for receiving fuel therefrom. Each swirler includes a plurality of swirl vanes to swirl air for mixing with the fuel from the fuel inlets. The multi-swirler carburetor having a common fuel injector increases injection points for reducing NO.sub.x emissions.

摘要: A fuel nozzle including a hollow body having an inlet, an outlet and a stationary surface are disclosed. Means for modulating fuel flow from the inlet to the outlet are also disclosed and comprise a flexible pressure-responsive diaphragm fixedly mounted in the body and having a freely supported edge disposed adjacent to the body stationary surface for defining therebetween a discharge port. The flow area of the discharge port is increasable in response to increasing fuel pressure in the inlet as fuel pressure acts against the diaphragm to displace the edge away from the body stationary surface.

摘要: A motor with associated load sensor is connected to a circulation pump of a swimming pool circulation system. The load sensor performs the function of a safety vacuum release system by detecting underload of the motor. Underload is now discovered to be reliably indicative of blockage on the intake side of a circulation pump. A switch controlled by the load sensor shuts off the motor in response to a suitable underload. Vacuum on the intake side of the circulation pump neutralizes, thereby freeing a person or object blocking the suction line.

摘要: Translucent and opaque graphics are mounted on transparent sheets and laminated to form a net ball game scoring device designed specifically for but not limited to the game of volleyball. The device is designed to be mounted to the net for quick reference and access by the players. Score indicators have a common axis and are color coded to differentiate the team's scores. Utilizing translucent graphics, the score indicators change color when the score is tied. The dynamic score indicators are contained internally in the transparent laminate so they cannot be accidentally changed. The two dynamic score indicators' positions are changed by dialing them through one of two slots located on opposite faces of the device so as each team has access only to its own score indicator.

摘要: A multiport valve with union plumbing connections utilizing a disc diverter of diameter larger than the valve's flow port diameter permanently housed in a spherical two piece welded housing that yields a nonserviceable but easily replaced multiport valve with low resistance. With removable plugs having surfaces shaped to correspond with the interior of the valve, the valve configuration can be changed from four ports to three or two ports at any time. Two external valve coupling flanges located normal to the ports together with clamps and a drop through actuator shaft allow multiple valve operation by a common shaft. An offset indexing spline located in the disc diverter's actuator shaft hole together with an ivertable valve body design allow relative positioning of valve diverters to be either parallel or perpendicular in multiple valves/common shaft configurations. The combination of this valve's features facilitates welding valve housing halves together to provide a versatile multiport valve system with easily replaced components.

In particular it relates to an immunogenic protein particle comprising the following monomers: a. a fusion protein comprising sequences derived from a CS protein of P. vivax and the S antigen of Hepatitis B (CSV-S), and b. a fusion protein comprising sequences derived from CS protein of P. falciparum and S antigen of Hepatitis B (RTS), and c. optionally the S antigen derived from Hepatitis B.
