摘要: Techniques are provided for generating depth estimates for pixels, in a series of images captured by a single camera, that correspond to the static objects. The techniques involve identifying occlusion events in the series of images. The occlusion events are events in which dynamic blobs are at least partially occluded, by static objects, from view of the camera. The depth estimates for pixels of the static objects are generated based on the occlusion events and depth estimates associated with the dynamic blobs. Techniques are also provided for generating the depth estimates associated with the dynamic blobs. The depth estimates for the dynamic blobs are generated based on how far down, within at least one image, the lowest point of the dynamic blob is located.

It may have an optimization module analyzing the proposals and informing the purchasing module if an opportunity exists for at least some of the shipments to be consolidated, in which case at least one contract awarded by the purchasing module is for a consolidated group of the shipments. It may have a contract administration module maintaining information relating to the status of proposals received and contracts awarded by the purchasing module. It may have a scheduling module scheduling shipments according to the awarded contracts. It may also have a shipment management module tracking the status of shipments awarded by the purchasing module and scheduled by said scheduling module. It may further have a financial module authorizing payments according to the status of shipments tracked by the shipment management module are passed between first and second asynchronous clock domains.

摘要: A system and method for determining characteristics of a trailer being towed by a vehicle. The trailer is coupled to the vehicle using a trailer hitch using at least one intelligent bolt or fastener. The intelligent fastener has structural characteristics similar to those of traditional bolts for fastening a trailer to a vehicle (e.g., shear strength, diameter, etc.), but the intelligent fastener is configured to sense forces at a junction between the trailer and the vehicle. An ESC system receives force readings from the intelligent fastener sensors along with signals from a plurality of other sensors and determines one or more characteristics of the trailer. The ESC system compensates the motion of the vehicle based on the forces sensed at the junction and the characteristics of the trailer.

摘要: The invention provides a system and method for determining characteristics of a trailer being towed by a vehicle that includes an electronic stability control (“ESC”) system. The trailer is coupled to the vehicle using a trailer hitch. The hitch is configured to fasten the trailer to the vehicle using at least one intelligent bolt or fastener. The intelligent fastener has structural characteristics similar to those of traditional bolts for fastening a trailer to a vehicle (e.g., shear strength, diameter, etc.), but the intelligent fastener is configured to sense forces at a junction between the trailer and the vehicle. The ESC system receives force readings from the intelligent fastener sensors and uses them in conjunction with signals from a plurality of other sensors connected to the ESC system to determine one or more characteristics of the trailer. The characteristics of the trailer include a trailer weight, a trailer sway, and a trailer center of gravity. The ESC system compensates the motion of the vehicle based on the forces sensed at the junction and the characteristics of the trailer.
