摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide an inertial filtration system for air-ingesting machines. The inertial filter 100 may comprise a reducer 133 downstream of a vortex generator. The reducer 133 decreases the area that the airstream flows through, which may increase the angular momentum and the centrifugal forces acting on the particles of the ingested airstream. This may increase the cleaning performance and a decrease in the pressure drop across the inertial filter 100. Generally, the inertial filter functions such that flow components of higher density are separated from the rest of the airstream. The higher density flow components are bled out of the inertial filter 100 via an outlet 135. The remaining flow components flow downstream to compressor section 535.

摘要: A heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) is coupled to a gas turbine engine that discharges a flow of exhaust gases including oxides of nitrogen (NOx). The HRSG includes a steam-based heating element for heating the exhaust gases, and at least one NOx reduction element coupled downstream from the at least one steam-based heating element and configured to facilitate reducing an amount of NOx in the exhaust gases that are channeled into the at least one NOx reduction element.

The fluid transfer system also includes at least one fluid transfer apparatus positioned within the fluid supply source. The fluid transfer system further includes a fluid control system. The fluid control system includes a plate coupled within the fluid supply source at least partially between the wall and the at least one fluid transfer apparatus. The fluid control system also includes at least one partition extending from the plate between the wall and the at least one fluid transfer apparatus. The at least one partition cooperates with the plate to at least partially direct fluid flow into the at least one fluid transfer apparatus.
