摘要: According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a transmission method for enabling transmission of content using a broadcast and a communication channel includes: transmitting playback control information and service information using at least the broadcast wave, the service information being information for playing back content transmission using the broadcast and content transmission using the communication channel when the content is transmitted using the broadcast and the communication channel. The service information includes attribute information indicating that the first content data and the second content data constitute the content and location information that indicates a location for acquiring meta-information on playback control of the second content. The playback control information includes indexes of a relationship between the first content data and the second content data.

摘要: A signal separation unit (101) separates an input picture made up of component pictures of RGB, each of which has an equal number of pixels as the input picture, into three component pictures, and outputs the three component pictures. Each of coding units (102 to 104) codes one of the component pictures into an intra-picture prediction coded picture or an inter-picture prediction coded picture, and outputs a bit stream corresponding to the component picture. A bit stream multiplexing unit (105) multiplexes three bit streams outputted from the three coding units into one bit stream, and outputs the bit stream. Each of the coding units (102), (103) and (104) determines a prediction method for the component picture at the time of coding.

摘要: An image decoding method of decoding units that are included in a picture is provided. The image decoding method decodes a first flag which indicates whether a removal time of encoded data from a buffer by a hypothetical decoder is set per unit. The buffer is for storing the encoded data. The image decoding method further decodes a second flag indicating whether an interval between removal times of the units is one of constant nd arbitrary when the removal times are set per unit. The image decoding method removes the encoded data from the buffer at the removal time, and decodes the removed encoded data.

摘要: A transmitting method according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes transmitting video control information for reproduction of video data having an individually reproducible unit, transmitting the video data, determining a transmission order of audio control information for reproduction of audio data in a reproduction interval corresponding to a reproduction interval of the video data in such a way that the audio control information is transmitted after the video control information, and transmitting the audio control information according to the determined transmission order, and transmitting the audio data. Thus, in the receiving apparatus, a delay time from reception of data to reproduction of video and audio is shortened.

摘要: An encoding apparatus of encoding units included in a picture is provided. The encoding apparatus generates a first flag indicating whether a removal time of encoded data from a buffer by a hypothetical decoder is set per unit. When the removal time is set per unit, a second flag is generated which indicates whether an interval between removal times of the units is constant. When the second flag indicates that the interval is constant, common-interval information is generated which is distinct from the second flag and indicates a constant time interval between the removal times of the units. A bitstream including the encoded data, the first flag, the second flag, and the common-interval information is generated, with the common-interval information being included in control information of the bitstream.

摘要: A decoding apparatus of decoding encoded data per unit from among units included in a picture is provided. The decoding apparatus includes at least one processor. A buffer is coupled to the processor and stores the encoded data. The processor decodes, from a bitstream including the encoded data, a first flag which indicates whether a removal time of the encoded data from the buffer is set per unit. A second flag indicates whether an interval between removal times of the units is constant when the removal time is set per unit. Control information of the bitstream includes common-interval information when the second flag indicates that the interval is constant. The common-interval information is distinct from the second flag and indicates a constant time interval between removal times of any two consecutive units.
