摘要: Provided is a transmission power control device and method calculating a compensated estimated signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) by subtracting an SIR margin according to change in the state of a receiving channel when measuring an estimated SIR of a reception signal at a receiving end, and determining an increase or decrease in transmission power according to a difference between the compensated estimated SIR and a target SIR, thereby providing a variable SIR margin threshold for TPC bit decision and preventing unnecessary cyclic redundancy check (CRC) errors and untimely change of the target SIR. Therefore, it is possible to efficiently reduce transmission and reception power consumption due to slow update of an existing target SIR, and to prevent a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) error caused by the untimely change of the target SIR.

摘要: Provided are a terminal supporting peer-to-peer (P2P) communication, a communication method using the terminal, and a billing method based on the terminal. A transceiver of the terminal is implemented to support P2P communication with an adjacent terminal in the same cell. Thus, when short-range communication is possible, the terminal performs P2P communication directly with the adjacent terminal, not via a base station. Consequently, when terminals use different mobile telecommunication service providers or there is no base station network, the terminals can be used for short-range communication. When a receiving channel state becomes satisfactory while communication with an adjacent terminal is being performed via a base station, the terminal switches to a P2P communication mode and performs communication with the adjacent terminal. On the contrary, when the receiving channel state deteriorates while communication with the adjacent terminal is being performed in the P2P communication mode, the terminal switches to a base station communication mode and performs communication with the adjacent terminal. Therefore, it is possible to use the terminal for short-range communication without attaching an additional short-range communication module to the terminal.

摘要: A textile, such as a hairpiece, includes a plurality of fiber single-ply threads. The plurality of fiber single-ply threads are grouped such that designs may be created on desired portions of the plurality of fiber single-ply threads, such as a decolorized portion. The textile includes a fixed part to hold the fiber single-ply threads. A variety of techniques may be used to create a design on the plurality of fiber single-ply threads with precision. For example, various dispersion dyes on transcription paper could be applied to a surface of the single-ply threads with a heat pressing process. The textile, exhibiting designs on a plurality of fiber single-ply threads, is also configured to be attached or adorned.

摘要: A new method of designing and generating compounds having an increased probability of being drugs, drug candidates, or biologically active compounds, in particular having a therapeutic utility, is disclosed. The method consists of identifying a group of bioactive compounds, preferably of diverse therapeutic uses or biological activities and built on a common building block. In this group of compounds, side chains modifying the building block are identified and used to generate a second set of compounds according to the proposed methods of hybridization”, “single substitution” or “incorporation of frequently used side chains”. If the compounds in the second set built on the same building block contain an unusually large number of drugs, preferably with diverse therapeutic uses or biological activities, they constitute a “hot spot”. A focused combinatorial library of the “hot spot” is then generated, preferably by methods of combinatorial chemistry, and compounds of this library are screened for a variety of therapeutic uses or biological activities. The method generates drugs, drug candidates, or biologically active compounds with a high probability, without requiring any prior knowledge of biological targets.

摘要: A variable capacity rotary compressor including upper and lower compression chambers in which compressing operations are carried out. A slot is provided at a predetermined position between upper and lower eccentric bushes. A locking pin makes either of the upper and lower eccentric bushes be disposed at a maximum eccentric position. Since the locking pin has a diameter which is larger than a locking hole in a shaft by about 0.02 mm to 0.06 mm, the locking pin is fitted into the locking hole in a press-fit method. Further, the locking hole has a threaded part and a non-threaded part, and the locking pin has a threaded part to correspond to the threaded part of the locking hole and a non-threaded part to correspond to the non-threaded part of the locking hole.

摘要: A two-dimensional wavelength/time optical CDMA system employing balanced-modified pseudo random noise (PN) matrix codes is provided. Through an inverse-exclusive OR operation of a pair of modified PN code, the balanced codes are generated as optical CDMA codes in the form of a new matrix. When the codes are applied to an optical CDMA system to perform encoding and decoding, if the same number of channels as the number (M−1) of subgroups of the codes are connected, the system becomes an MAI-free system, and even if the number of channels connected is twice the number of the subgroups, an error-free system can be established. Accordingly, the number of channels that can be used simultaneously is doubled compared to the prior art method such that the economical efficiency of the optical CDMA system improves.
