    摘要: A message alert system is useful for a communication device (10) having a display (12) and a processor (30). The message alert system includes a computer-readable medium (32) and a routine stored in the computer-readable medium (32) and configured for execution by the processor (30). The routine includes a first routine that receives a message having a message type, and a second routine that generates a display item (40) for the display (12) of the communication device (10) in accordance with the message type such that the display item (40) comprises information indicative of the message type of the received message and whether further messages of the message type have been received by the communication device (10). The routine may further includes a memory check routine that determines whether storing the message in the computer-readable medium (32) would result in exceeding a predetermined amount of the capacity of the computer-readable medium (32). The routine may still further include a routine that analyzes the message to determine a size thereof. In such an embodiment, the second routine generates the display item in accordance with the size of the message.

    摘要: Techniques for a compressed image with alpha channel data are described. Encoded alpha channel data from a compressed image representation may be extracted. A common type pixel run characteristic may be determined for at least one common type pixel run represented in the encoded alpha channel data. A common alpha channel value is applied, based on the common type pixel run characteristic, to pixels in a decompressed image representation correlated to the at least one common type pixel run. Pixels in the decompressed image representation correlating to at least one lookup type pixel run represented in the encoded alpha channel data may be processed. The processing may include a determination of an alpha channel value based on pixel data, specific to a pixel correlated to the lookup type pixel run, in the encoded alpha channel data and an application of the alpha channel value to the pixel.

    摘要: An apparatus and a system for stocking and sorting wafers in a wafer processing system reduce cycle time in manufacturing and reduce excessive handling of delicate wafers. In an example embodiment, the apparatus includes in an enclosure having therein a scanner adapted to identify codes located on the wafer carriers that indicate the position of a wafer within the carrier. A sorting mechanism for sorting wafers and carriers within the enclosure is also included as well as a computer arrangement that communicates with the management system of the wafer processing system. One of the advantages of the present invention is the reduction in cycle time that is achieved by sorting wafers immediately on demand while at a stocking location.

    摘要: Provided is an attachment system for coupling a mobile computing device to an optic device. The optic device may be, but is not limited to a scope, binoculars or the like. The attachment system operates with attachment devices and mounting device with apertures that provide a means to couple a mobile computing device to the optic device in such a way that the attachment system provides a line-of-sight between a camera of the mobile computing device with the lens of the optic device.
