摘要: According to an aspect, one or more network nodes of a wireless communication system sends, to a wireless device operating in the wireless communication system, mobility reference signal (MRS) configuration information, the MRS configuration information specifying one or more parameters for each of a plurality of MRS configurations. The network node subsequently sends, to the wireless device, an activation command indicating that at least a first one of the MRS configurations is to be used by the wireless device, the activation command including an index identifying the first one of the MRS configurations from among the plurality of MRS configurations. The wireless device receives the MRS configuration information and the activation command. The wireless device searches for at least one MRS specified by the first one of the MRS, responsive to the activation command and performs at least one measurement on the at least one MRS.

摘要: Method of performing a random access procedure between a User Equipment, UE, and a radio access network, wherein two access nodes comprise different sets of signature sequences, wherein said signature sequences are used, by said access nodes, to differentiate requests coming from different UEs, said method comprising the steps of receiving a random access request from said UE, wherein said random access request comprises a signature sequence, determining that said random access request is intended for said first radio access node based on said signature sequence comprised by said request, receiving, from a second access node, said random access request, thereby indicating that said second radio access node has also received said random access request from said UE, and sending a response based on said received random access request from said UE and based on said random access request received from said second radio access node.

摘要: Network nodes (102, 104), control node (100) and methods therein, for enabling establishment of a neighbor relation between a first network node (102) and a second network node (104) in a wireless network. The control node (100) sends (1:1) or distributes, to network nodes in the network including the first network node (702), a set of reference signals reserved for neighbor relation establishment. The second network node (104) transmits (1:3) one of the reserved reference signals which is then detected by a wireless device (D1) being served by the first network node (102) which then receives (1:4), from the wireless device (D1), a measurement report indicating the detected reference signal that is recognized by the first network node (102) as belonging to the set of reserved reference signals. The first network node (102) can then identify (1:5) the second network node (104), based on the reserved reference signal in the measurement report, and establishes (1:6) a neighbor relation with the identified second network node (104).

摘要: According to an aspect, there is provided a method of operating a first radio access node in a communication network, the method comprising determining whether a first base key that is used to determine a first encryption key for encrypting communications between a communication device and the first radio access node can be used by a second radio access node for determining a second encryption key for encrypting communications between the communication device and the second radio access node; and if the first base key can be used by the second radio access node, sending the first base key to the second radio access node during handover of the communication device from the first radio access node to the second radio access node.
