    Abstract: An outdoor unit has a frame that carries a ground grooming or working implement, a traction drive, and a cooling fan, all of which comprises loads on a prime mover. A power management controller automatically reduces an operational speed of the traction drive when prime mover droop is present. The cooling fan cools two cooling fluids. The controller stores data representing variable fan speeds for cooling each cooling fluid in both normal and above normal temperature ranges and for use when prime mover droop is present. The controller uses the highest fan speed required for cooling the cooling fluids in the normal range unless the droop fan speed is lower in which case the lower droop fan speed is used but only to the extent that the lower droop fan speed is not lower than the highest fan speed required for cooling the cooling fluids in the above normal temperature range.

    Abstract: A ground working vehicle having a vehicle frame (102) is disclosed. An implement (114) is coupled to the vehicle frame (102) and extends between a first implement end and a second implement end. The implement (114) is adjusted to alter the rake angle between the first and second implement ends, to modify internal dimensions of the implement (114), and/or to include a kick-down baffle. Further, the implement (114) may be adjusted manually, remotely, or automatically. For example, one or more actuators (150) can be coupled to the implement (114) to adjust as desired by the user. Further, one or controllers (152) can automatically adjust the implement (114). Specifically, the implement (114) is adjusted to optimize operating parameters such as, e.g., runtime of the vehicle and/or quality of cut.

    Abstract: A ground working vehicle having one or more operating parameters is disclosed. Each geographical location in which the ground working vehicle operates may have associated therewith a specific value for the one or more operating parameters. Therefore, when the ground working vehicle is located within an established geographical location, the specific value for the one or more operating parameters at that geographical location is provided to the ground working vehicle. The ground working vehicle may accept the specific value by, for example, automatically adjusting, prompting the operator, notifying the operator, disengaging the vehicle if the current value is not within the specific value, etc.

    Abstract: A traction and steering control system and method for a small- or zero-radius-turning maintenance vehicle. The traction and steering control system may determine operator intended speed and direction by monitoring positions of speed and directional control members and one or more operational parameters of the vehicle. The vehicle may then generate drive wheel speed commands that achieve the intended speed and direction by determining how best to manipulate the left and right drive wheels. In some instances, the drive wheel speed commands are disproportionately related to the positions of the speed and directional control members.
