摘要: An ink set containing an inkjet ink and a treatment liquid used in combination with the inkjet ink, wherein the inkjet ink contains a pigment, a water-soluble organic solvent, a surfactant and water, the water-soluble organic solvent contains a glycol ether-based organic solvent having a specific structure, the treatment liquid contains a coagulant, the coagulant contains calcium nitrate in an amount of 6.8 to 20.8% by mass relative to the total mass of the treatment liquid, and the amount of compounds contained in the treatment liquid that have three or more hydroxyl groups is not more than 15% by mass relative to the total mass of the treatment liquid.

An ink-jet white ink of active energy ray-curable type, comprising titanium oxide, a pigment dispersant, and a polymerizable compound, wherein the content of the titanium oxide is from 15 to 30% by weight with reference to the total weight of the ink, and wherein the weight average particle diameter of the titanium oxide is 180 to 250 nm. In an embodiment of the ink, the titanium oxide is titanium oxide that surface is treated with silica and the pigment dispersant comprises a basic dispersant.

The present invention enables a dispersion of low viscosity and good stability to be generated in an extremely short dispersion time, and is able to provide an inkjet ink which forms an ink coating film that suffers no whitening and has superior resistance (abrasion resistance and alcohol resistance).
