    Abstract: A controller that controls charging of a power storage in a vehicle includes an obtaining unit that obtains a fee table showing charge fee information for each of a plurality of maximum supply powers of a power feed facility outside the vehicle before start of charging of the power storage with the use of the power feed facility, a setting unit that sets a criterion for selection of maximum supply power of the power feed facility, a selector that selects one maximum supply power in the fee table in accordance with the criterion set by the setting unit, and a notification unit that notifies the power feed facility of the maximum supply power selected by the selector.

    Abstract: The automobile controller notifies the controller of the power feed device (power supply controller) of the charging voltage prior to charging the battery. After receiving the charging voltage, the power feed controller raises the voltage at the output end of the power supply device to the supply voltage that is lower than its own rated output voltage and the charging voltage. The automobile controller monitors the voltage at the output end to identify the supply voltage while the power feed controller performs a ground fault check. The automobile controller (1) charges the battery with electric power of the supply voltage if the supply voltage is equal to the charge voltage, and (2) drives a boost converter to reduce the supply voltage to the charge voltage if the supply voltage is lower than the charge voltage, and then charge the battery with electric power from the power feed device.

    Abstract: An engine is controlled such that a first motor rotates at a rotational speed that causes a counter-electromotive voltage of the first motor to be higher than direct current-side voltages of a first inverter and a second inverter, and the first motor outputs torque to a driving shaft through a planetary gear set when an accelerator is on during specified travelling with gates of the first inverter and the second inverter being cut off and an engine being operated. When the accelerator is turned off during the specified traveling, fuel injection of the engine is stopped.
