    Abstract: [Technical Problem] An object is to provide a sliding system that allows the friction coefficient at a sliding part to be considerably reduced by means of a novel combination of a chromium nitride film and a lubricant oil.[Solution to Problem] The sliding system of the present invention comprises: a pair of sliding members having sliding surfaces that can relatively move while facing each other; and a lubricant oil that can be interposed between the sliding surfaces facing each other. At least one of the sliding surfaces comprises a coating surface of a specific chromium nitride film, and the lubricant oil contains an oil-soluble molybdenum compound comprising molybdenum dialkyldithiophosphate (Mo-DTP). When the chromium nitride film as a whole is 100 at % (referred simply to as “%”), the chromium nitride film comprises 40-65% of Cr and 35-55% of N and has a relative surface area of 15-85%. The relative surface area is a surface area ratio of a (111) plane to a (200) plane obtained when analyzed with X-ray diffraction. The Mo-DTP is preferably contained at 150-800 ppm as a Mo mass content to the lubricant oil as a whole.

    Abstract: A PCVD apparatus includes a waveguide member which supports the workpiece with a portion of the waveguide member positioned in a reactor and causes microwaves output from a high-frequency output device to propagate to the workpiece. In a process of gradually increasing an intensity of the microwaves propagating to the workpiece through the waveguide member from “0”, the intensity of the microwaves output from the high-frequency output device when step-up of a bias current of the workpiece occurs is referred to as a first intensity, and in a process of gradually increasing the intensity of the microwaves from the first intensity, the intensity of the microwaves when step-up of the bias current occurs again is referred to as a second intensity. During film formation, the microwaves having an intensity of higher than the first intensity and lower than the second intensity are output from the high-frequency output device.

    Abstract: A damping insulator restrains vibration to be transmitted between a fuel injection valve and a cylinder head. The fuel injection valve is attached to an insertion hole of the cylinder head. The fuel injection valve includes a stepped portion reduced in diameter in a tapered shape such that an outer-peripheral-side tapered surface is formed to face a shoulder provided in an inlet portion of the insertion hole. The damping insulator restrains the vibration by being provided between the stepped portion and the shoulder. The damping insulator includes an annular tolerance ring having a bottom surface facing the shoulder and an inner-peripheral-side tapered surface facing the outer-peripheral-side tapered surface, and a damping resin layer provided on the bottom surface or the inner-peripheral-side tapered surface of the tolerance ring. The damping resin layer contains heat-resistant resin and damping filler configured to convert vibrational energy into thermal energy.

    Abstract: Provided is a timing chain cover that allows suppressing vibration transmission. A timing chain cover of the present disclosure houses a timing chain transmitting a rotative force of a crankshaft to a camshaft in one end side of an internal combustion engine. The timing chain cover includes a chain cover main body and a damping resin layer formed on an abutment surface of the chain cover main body. The abutment surface abuts on an internal combustion engine main body. The damping resin layer contains a heat resistant resin and a damping filler. The damping filler converts a vibration energy into a heat energy.

The crank sprocket of the present disclosure is mounted to one end side in an axial direction of a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine, and a timing chain is wound around the crank sprocket. The crank sprocket includes a sprocket base body, and a vibration-damping resin layer formed on an inner peripheral surface or a tooth surface of the sprocket base body. The vibration-damping resin layer includes a heat-resistant resin and a vibration damping filler that converts vibration energy into thermal energy.

    Abstract: A sliding system includes a pair of sliding members having opposing sliding surfaces adapted to move relative to each other, and a lubricating oil interposed between the opposing sliding surfaces. Here, at least one of the sliding surfaces is a covered surface covered with a specific chromium nitride film. The lubricating oil contains an oil-soluble molybdenum compound formed of a molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate. In the chromium nitride film, when an amount of atoms constituting the entire chromium nitride film is set as 100 atom %, there is 32 atom % to 47 atom % of N, the balance is Cr, and a relative area which is an area ratio of the (111) plane with respect to the (200) plane obtained when the chromium nitride film is analyzed by X-ray diffraction is 20% to 30%.
