摘要： This invention discloses a method of transmitting data through Local Area Network by abandoning the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to eliminate the Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) and avoid unnecessary delay and communication flow. The present invention also abandons the concept of TCP/IP address, so that it is not necessary to maintain the huge TCP/IP address database in wireless LAN in order to implement the gapless roaming and reduce packet conflict during the transmission process by defining a smaller capacity for the data packet head in the high-speed wireless LAN standard IEEE 802.11 protocol.

摘要： The present invention is to provide a method of automatically enabling or disabling backlight of an electronic device based on a predetermined time, which is implemented in the electronic device including a memory having an established backlight control database containing a predetermined enabled and disabled time of backlight respectively. In response to a user pressing a key of the keypad as determined by the electronic device, the electronic device is able to automatically read and inquire the predetermined enabled or disabled time of backlight, and activate or deactivate the keypad backlight immediately when a predetermined condition (i.e., the predetermined enabled or disabled time of backlight) has been reached.

摘要： An over-current alerting circuit used in a hand held device includes a current sensor module, a photo sensor module and an alerting module. The current sensor module is used for sensing a loading current of the hand held device and outputting a photo signal according to the intensity of the loading current. The photo sensor module is used for generating a driving signal when the intensity of the photo signal is higher than a predetermined intensity. The alerting module is used for performing an alerting action after the driving signal is received. In addition, an over-current alerting method is also disclosed herein.

摘要： A data protection method. The data protection method is implemented between a server and a mobile communication device capable of wireless communication with the server. The mobile communication device transmits a media download request to the server for downloading of media data. The server receives the media download request and then generates a description file, a protected media file and a license file. The description file comprises download information of the protected media file and the license file. The protected media file comprises a set of encrypted data generated from encrypting the media data. The license file comprises a decryption key for decrypting the encrypted data into the requested media data. The server transmits the description file to the mobile communication device. The mobile communication device receives the description file from the server.
