Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a plastic lens having reflow heat resistance at 260° C., which is characterized in that a photosensitive resin composition containing a specific resin and a photopolymerization initiator is molded into a lens shape. The resin is obtained by mining one or more compounds (a) selected from the group consisting of (CH3O)3—Si—(CH2)3—O—CO—C(CH3)═CH2, (CH3O)3—Si—(CH2)3—O—CO—CH═CH2, (CH3O)3—Si—(CH2)x—CH═CH2 (wherein X is 1 or 2), (CH3O)2—Si(CH3)(CH2)3—O—CO—C(CH3)═CH2, (CH3O)2—Si(CH3)(CH2)3—O—CO—CH═CH2 and (CH3O)2—Si(CH3)—(CH2)x—CH═CH2 (wherein X is 1 or 2) with a compound (b) represented by (C6H5)2—Si—(OH)2 such that 50-150 moles of the compounds (a) is mixed per 100 moles of the compound (b), and then polycondensing the mixture at 40-15° C. for 0.1-10 hours in the presence of a catalyst.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A nuclear-power-plant soundness evaluation system includes a stress-distribution calculating unit that outputs a stress distribution and an identified crack generating part; a crack-growth prediction unit that predicts how the crack will grow from the crack generating part; and a soundness maintenance unit that has a maintenance database in which crack-growth prediction results and maintenance measures are associated and reads out from the maintenance database a maintenance measure corresponding to the crack-growth prediction result and presents the read-out maintenance information to a user.
Abstract:
A full-length cDNA is obtained by analyzing the partial amino acid sequence of purified endo-β-galactosidase C, constructing primers based thereon, effecting PCR with the use of the genomic DNA of Clostridium perfringens as a template to thereby obtain a fragment of cDNA encoding endo-β-galactosidase, effecting cassette PCR by using the cDNA fragment thus obtained to thereby obtain the 5′-terminal and 3′-terminal domains, and further effecting PCR with the use of primers constructed on the basis of the data acquired above.
Abstract:
A feed additive granule for ruminants comprising a granulated physiologically active substance as the core, a first coating layer placed on the surface of said core, said first coating layer containing a high molecular substance which dissolves or swells in water in an acidic pH region of not greater than 5.5 and is stable in a pH region of 5.6 to 8.0, and a second coating layer placed on said first coating layer, said second coating layer being of a substance which is stable in an acidic pH region of not greater than 5.5, dissolves or swells in water in a pH region of 5.6 to 8.0 and is acceptable to ruminants, and some modifications thereof, as well as feed for ruminants comprising such a novel feed additive.
Abstract:
A feed additive for ruminants, which comprises core containing a carbamate of a basic amino acid and coated with a polymer coating agent soluble or swellable in water in an acidic region of a pH of at most 5.
Abstract:
An AV amplifier detects combinations of resolutions and vertical frequencies of input video data, and reads information about combinations of resolutions and vertical frequencies stored in a display device in advance. The AV amplifier sets values, that are a combination of an output resolution and an output vertical frequency in which a value obtained by dividing a vertical frequency of the video data detected by a video detecting section by the output vertical frequency is an integer number and are present in the combinations of the resolutions and the vertical frequencies read by the reading section, as the combination of the output resolution and the output vertical frequency.
Abstract:
It is provided that a machining conditions setting system and a machining conditions setting method with which it is possible to select a machining condition for machining according to a target degree of hardness and obtain a predetermined degree of hardness by performing only the machining. The machining conditions setting system includes: a machining conditions database that, by determining in advance a relationship between the machining condition and a degree of hardness of the workpiece machined under the machining condition, stores the machining condition corresponding to the material of the workpiece and a range of degree of hardness for machining; and machining conditions selection means into which a material of a workpiece and a target degree of hardness are input, and which outputs a machining condition under which machining with the target degree of hardness can be performed, referring to the machining conditions database.
