Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing a plastic lens having reflow heat resistance at 260° C., which is characterized in that a photosensitive resin composition containing a specific resin and a photopolymerization initiator is molded into a lens shape. The resin is obtained by mining one or more compounds (a) selected from the group consisting of (CH3O)3—Si—(CH2)3—O—CO—C(CH3)═CH2, (CH3O)3—Si—(CH2)3—O—CO—CH═CH2, (CH3O)3—Si—(CH2)x—CH═CH2 (wherein X is 1 or 2), (CH3O)2—Si(CH3)(CH2)3—O—CO—C(CH3)═CH2, (CH3O)2—Si(CH3)(CH2)3—O—CO—CH═CH2 and (CH3O)2—Si(CH3)—(CH2)x—CH═CH2 (wherein X is 1 or 2) with a compound (b) represented by (C6H5)2—Si—(OH)2 such that 50-150 moles of the compounds (a) is mixed per 100 moles of the compound (b), and then polycondensing the mixture at 40-15° C. for 0.1-10 hours in the presence of a catalyst.

Abstract: A full-length cDNA is obtained by analyzing the partial amino acid sequence of purified endo-β-galactosidase C, constructing primers based thereon, effecting PCR with the use of the genomic DNA of Clostridium perfringens as a template to thereby obtain a fragment of cDNA encoding endo-β-galactosidase, effecting cassette PCR by using the cDNA fragment thus obtained to thereby obtain the 5′-terminal and 3′-terminal domains, and further effecting PCR with the use of primers constructed on the basis of the data acquired above.

Abstract: It is provided that a machining conditions setting system and a machining conditions setting method with which it is possible to select a machining condition for machining according to a target degree of hardness and obtain a predetermined degree of hardness by performing only the machining. The machining conditions setting system includes: a machining conditions database that, by determining in advance a relationship between the machining condition and a degree of hardness of the workpiece machined under the machining condition, stores the machining condition corresponding to the material of the workpiece and a range of degree of hardness for machining; and machining conditions selection means into which a material of a workpiece and a target degree of hardness are input, and which outputs a machining condition under which machining with the target degree of hardness can be performed, referring to the machining conditions database.
