摘要: A battery capable of improving cycle characteristics and a manufacturing yield is provided. An anode includes: an anode current collector; and an anode active material layer arranged on the anode current collector, in which the anode active material layer includes an anode active material including a plurality of pores, and the rate of change in the amount of mercury intruded into the plurality of pores is distributed so as to have a peak in a diameter range from 80 nm to 1200 nm both inclusive, the amount of mercury intruded being measured by mercury porosimetry.

摘要: A battery capable of improving cycle characteristics is provided. An anode active material layer is formed by a vapor phase method, and includes Si as an element. In the anode active material layer, a plurality of primary particles formed by growth in a thickness direction are included, and the plurality of primary particles are agglomerated to form a plurality of secondary particles. Each secondary particle is separated by a groove formed by charge and discharge, and some of primary particles are split particles split by the groove. The average number of the split particles per secondary particle in 5 or more adjacent secondary particles is 10 or more. Moreover, the primary particles and the secondary particles are inclined to the same side.

摘要: A secondary battery is provided that is capable of improving the cycle characteristics. The secondary battery includes a cathode, an anode, and an electrolytic solution. The electrolytic solution is impregnated into a separator provided between the cathode and the anode. In the anode, an anode active material layer and a compound layer are provided on both faces of an anode current collector. The anode active material layer contains a plurality of anode active material particles. The anode active material particles have a multilayer structure of an anode active material containing silicon as an element. The thickness of each layer in the multilayer structure ranges from 50 nm to 1050 nm. Thus, contact characteristics between each layer, contact characteristics between the anode active material layer and the anode current collector, and current collectivity are improved.

摘要: A current collector capable of relaxing stress and of improving charcteristics, an anode using the current collector, and a battery using the current collector are provided. An active material layer containing Si is provided on a current collector. The current collector contains Cu. Where a peak area resulting from (220) crystal face of Cu obtained by X-ray diffraction is I220, and a peak area resulting from (200) crystal face of Cu obtained by X-ray diffraction is I200, ratio I220/I200 as a ratio of the peak area I200 to the peak area I200 is 2.5 or less. Thereby, even when the active material layer is expanded and shrunk due to charge and discharge, the stress can be relaxed, and separation or the like of the active material layer can be prevented.
