Abstract:
A reversing transporting device includes a transport-in path, a first transporting section provided at the transport-in path, a second transporting section provided at the transport-in path, a reversing path connected to the transport-in path, a third transporting section provided at the reversing path, a transport-out path connected to the reversing path, a fourth transporting section provided at the transport-out path, and a fifth transporting section provided at the transport-out path.
Abstract:
There is provided a portable device which includes a first housing, a housing member removable from the first housing, where the housing member includes an exposed portion, the exposed portion projecting from the first housing when the housing member is inserted in the first housing, a second housing coupled with the first housing so as to be allowed to be folded on the first housing, the second housing including a wall made of electrical insulating material, and an antenna disposed in the second housing and surrounded partially with the wall, a part of the antenna and the exposed portion facing each other via the wall when the first and second housings are folded on each other.
Abstract:
A medium transporting device includes: a transporting path; a contacted member that is provided on the transporting path to be movable in a medium width direction orthogonal to a medium transporting direction; a line-up member on the transporting path that lines up a position of the medium by sending the medium transported on the transporting path to the contacted member to bring the end of the medium in the medium width direction into contact with the contacted member; a displacement amount calculation unit that sets on a downstream side of the line-up member in the medium transporting direction, and calculates a misregistration amount of the medium in the medium width direction; and a contacted position control unit that controls a position of the contacted member by moving the contacted member in a direction of reducing the misregistration amount.
Abstract:
A composition for sealing flooring seams, including a water-based adhesive and a pigmented compound with a viscosity high enough that the composition may be applied vertically without significantly running and low enough that the composition will enter the opening of a seam gap. A method of sealing a seam between adjacent flooring sheets, including dispensing a sealing composition directly on the seam, waiting a sufficient time for the sealing composition to cure, and removing any excess sealing composition so that the filled seam is level with the flooring sheets.
Abstract:
An ECU is used in a motorcycle including an engine E, which combusts in a combustion chamber a blended fuel in which gasoline and ethanol are blended, and a fuel injection device for injecting a fuel with a predetermined fuel injection amount such that an air excess ratio in the combustion chamber is a first predetermined value when an ethanol concentration of the blended fuel is zero. The ECU executes O2 feedback control based on an O2 concentration derived from an output of an O2 sensor. Further, the ECU calculates an actual fuel compensation ratio by dividing a fuel injection amount after the O2 feedback control by a predetermined fuel injection amount, and estimates the concentration of the alternative fuel based on this actual fuel compensation ratio and a first predetermined value stored in the ECU.
Abstract:
Forming a back-illuminated type CMOS image sensor, includes process for formation of a registration mark on the wiring side of a silicon substrate during formation of an active region or a gate electrode. A silicide film using an active region may also be used for the registration mark. Thereafter, the registration mark is read from the back side by use of red light or near infrared rays, and registration of the stepper is accomplished. It is also possible to form a registration mark in a silicon oxide film on the back side (illuminated side) in registry with the registration mark on the wiring side, and to achieve the desired registration by use of the registration mark thus formed.
Abstract:
An interchangeable lens has a zoom lens, a zoom driver operable to drive the zoom lens along an optical axis, a focus lens, a focus driver operable to drive the focus lens along the optical axis, and a storage unit operable to store link information which links position information indicating a position of the zoom lens on the optical axis with information about a variation in magnification caused by the focus lens advancing and retreating on the optical axis with the zoom lens located at the position indicated by the position information.
Abstract:
An amino acid composition comprises alanine, arginine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid, glycine, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, proline, serine, threonine, tryptophan, tyrosine, valine, and glutamine. The amino acid composition of the present invention has such an effect that it can improve the action of promoting the process wherein the body fat is converted into the energy required for the physical exercise during and/or after the anoxic motions performed under an extremely high load.
Abstract:
A mobile radio communications method that prevents a calling user from being billed for an expensive overseas call, which the user could make without knowing that the destination mobile terminal is currently roaming abroad. When a mobile terminal has moved from a first country to a second country, its home mobile switch is informed of the new terminal location. The home mobile switch consults this location information when a call request to the roaming mobile terminal is placed by another mobile terminal, so as to determine in which country the destination is. If it turns out to be in the second country, the home mobile switch so notifies the calling mobile terminal by sending an overseas destination notice to it. This notice warns the calling user that he/she is making eventually an international call, thus allowing him/her to reconsider whether to proceed with the call request or cancel it.
