    摘要: Formed on a glass substrate is an EL element including an anode, an organic light emitting layer, and a cathode. A first protective film is formed on a surface of the EL element to cover the EL element through a dry process. A second protective film is then formed on a surface of the first protective film to cover the first protective film by using polysilazane through a wet process. Even if an uncovered portion is left in the first protective film owing to the existence of a foreign matter thereon, the second protective film covers the uncovered portion to avoid intrusion of oxygen or other gases, moisture, etc. into the EL element from the outside.

Flame propagation can be prevented by setting the size of a space (58b) formed by the plug (58) and the positioning plate (59) according to the sealing quantity of the flammable refrigerant and the surface temperature of the heater wire (52), and an unstable state in a defrosting mode is prevented even when the flammable refrigerant leaks.

    摘要: A refrigerator includes a thermally insulated housing opening forwardly at a front surface thereof; a door for selectively opening and closing the opening of the housing; a magnetic gasket fitted to a portion of the door which is engageable with an open edge of the housing; a pivotally supported handle connected to the door for movement between opened and closed positions for opening and closing the door, respectively; and a trigger member drivingly coupled with the handle for movement between projected and retracted positions. The trigger member is moved from the retracted position towards the projected position, as the handle is pivoted from the closed position towards the opened position, to abut the open edge to thereby physically release a contact between the magnetic gasket and the open edge. The trigger member is spaced a distance from an abutment face of the open edge of the housing so long as the handle is held in the closed position, but temporarily brought into engagement with the abutment face of the housing as the handle is pivoted from the closed position towards the opened position to open the door.

    摘要: An inductive coupler forming a closed magnetic circuit by mating a primary core assembly having a primary winding and a secondary core assembly having a secondary winding for transferring electrical power from the primary winding to the secondary winding by electromagnetic induction. A thin magnetic protective sheet having high permeability is attached to the mating surfaces of at least one of the primary and secondary core assemblies or placed to be held by the core assemblies. The magnetic sheet can protect the mating surfaces of ferrite cores, if such cores are used, from breakage by absorbing and dispersing the shock of impact caused when the mating surfaces are abutted against each other to close the cores. Provision of a slit or slits in the magnetic protective sheet can reduce eddy currents flowing in the magnetic sheet.
