摘要： A liquid charging method including the following steps. First, supplying liquid into and then discharging the liquid from an enclosed space provided above a pit block, to fill the liquid into a plurality of pits on the upper surface of the pit block. Each of the pits open at the upper surface of the pit block and have a small-diameter nozzle formed at the bottom of the pit block. Second, a tray having an array of containers with open upper ends is fed to be positioned below the pit block at a specified liquid-charged position. Pressurized air is supplied into the enclosed space to apply pressure on the liquid in the pits, thereby forcing the liquid in the pits to flow through the small-diameter nozzles into the array of containers on the tray.

摘要： A method and apparatus for charging liquid into open, empty containers or capsules in a process of making liquid-filled capsules that are to be loaded into cigarette filters and may contain water, perfume or other substances to improve taste of cigarettes. Liquid is supplied to a hermetically enclosed space formed above a pit block and around the outer circumference thereof and then discharged from it to fill the liquid in a plurality of pits that pass through the pit block. Each pit has a narrow nozzle. A plurality of containers mounted on a tray are carried to a predetermined position under the pit block so that the containers are located immediately below the corresponding nozzles. An air pressure is supplied to the enclosed space to pressurize the liquid contained in the pits and thereby force the liquid to flow down the nozzles into the containers on the tray, which is then moved from under the pit block.

摘要： A transport system for rod-shaped objects, according to the present invention, comprises a feeder unit for delivering the rod-shaped objects, one by one, a transport pipe connected at one end to the feeder unit, and adapted to transport the objects, a receiving unit connected to the other end of the transport pipe, a blower unit for circulating compressed air in the transport pipe, from the feeder unit toward the receiving unit, so that the objects therein are transported through the pipe, from the feeder unit to the receiving unit, by the current of compressed air; a detecting switch for detecting any jamming of the objects in a transport path, extending from the feeder unit into the receiving unit, and a pressure relief unit mounted on a part of the transport pipe near the receiving unit, whereby the compressed air is released from the transport pipe into the atmosphere, the pressure relief unit being adapted to be actuated when jamming of the objects is detected by the detecting switch.

摘要： A filter cigarette-manufacturing apparatus having a filter-supplying drum with grooves cut in its periphery, extending parallel to its axis, and spaced at equal intervals along the periphery. Two tip-bypassing drums are in rolling contact with the filter-supplying drum, and a tip-bypassing drum is in rolling contact with tip-bypassing drum. Each of these drums has similar grooves spaced along the periphery at the same intervals as those of the filter-supplying drum. Filter tips obtained by cutting a filter rod are supplied into one of the grooves of the filter-supplying drum. The tip-bypassing drums cooperate with the filter-supplying drum to bypass all the tips, except one which is transported forward by the filter-supplying drum. The other tips are finally fed from the tip-bypassing drums back to the filter-supplying drum, are spaced from the one tip by different distances defined by different numbers of grooves along the periphery of said filter-supplying drum, and then are transported forward as said filter-supplying drum rotates. As a result, the filter tips and other tips produced by cutting other filter rods are sequentially distributed into those grooves of said filter-supplying drum which are located downstream of said filter tip-bypassing drums.

The small articles fed from the outlet head are stored in the matrix plate in a matrix form within the matrix plate in an aligned state. These small articles are stored in the matrix plate by a drop pleich. These small articles are held in this matrix plate by the drop plate. Upon movement of the drop plate in the horizontal direction, these small articles drop and are respectively stored in storage holes of a tray.

Keeping their heads hooked by both side rims of the groove and located upward while leaving their tails suspended in the groove. The device also has a feed-in conveyor system and a feed-out conveyor system. The feed-in conveyor system feeds the matters to the drum successively. The feed-out conveyor system receives the matters hung in the groove at the upper circumference portion of the drum in such a way that the tails of the matters hung in the groove are contacted at first with the feed-out conveyor system. The speed of the feed-out conveyor system is different from the peripheral speed of the drum.

Many frusto-pyramidal portions biting into the filler are formed so as to be distributed on an inner surface of the paper except on both of the side edge portions of the inner surface. A length of filter material is held between a conveyor system and a mask ring to be fed into a predetermined direction. The conveyor has laterally extending air permeable sections and air non-permeable sections; the mask ring has laterally extending slits and mask sections between the slits.
