摘要： A color image processing apparatus which decomposes an image signal into color components. The decomposed color components are converted to sequential picture signals. Information on certain color components of the converted sequential picture signal is thinned out and transmitted. The color component signals are stored in respective memories. Certain color component signals are read out in their entirety, while only predetermined portions of other color component signals are read out.

摘要： A camera section for photographing an object to generate a video signal is connected via a cable to a video signal processing section that receives and processes the video signal. When the camera section is replaced with a different one, signals corresponding to the new camera section are automatically provided. A video signal, a synchronizing signal therefor, a clock signal, and control data are multiplexed on a signal line in the cable and the signal obtained is transmitted from the camera section to the video signal processing section, and control data is sent from the video signal processing section to the camera section. These control data are transmitted during a vertical interval of the video signal, and a DC voltage is supplied to the camera section from the video signal processing section via a shield line that is paired with the signal line in the cable.

Discrimination apparatus discriminates whether the information reproduced by the reproducing device is image information or another type of information which is different from image information. Then, a conversion device converts data which indicates an attribution of the another type of information into image information when the discrimination apparatus determines that the information is the another type of information. Preferably, the discrimination apparatus can discriminate between image information, voice information, and digital information.

摘要： An image forming apparatus arranged to receive image information from a memory device for storing color image information and then to form an image on an image-forming medium. This apparatus allows an operator to specify the size and the layout of a color image to be formed on the image-forming medium while viewing a display provided on a monitor device. The apparatus can change the size of the color image information read from the memory device to the required magnification in accordance with a command given by the specifying element, thereby producing a printout. In this case, the operator can adjust the image quality of image information to be printed out while visually confirming the quality of the image displayed on the monitor device, whereby no proof printout is needed.
