摘要: [Objective] An object is to provide a sensor control apparatus and a sensor-control-apparatus control method which can reduce variation in startup time among a plurality of times of execution of detection processing, in consideration of variation in output characteristic among a plurality of gas sensors.[Means for Solution] In a sensor control apparatus, before drive control (S55 to S80) is started, preliminary control is executed so as to supply a constant current to a second oxygen pump cell over a constant time, to thereby control to a constant level the amount of oxygen pumped from a second measurement chamber to the outside of the second measurement chamber (S40 to 50). The preliminary control is executed under control conditions of the sensor control apparatus which are determined for each gas sensor and are associated with the amount of oxygen pumped from the second measurement chamber to the outside thereof. The control conditions bring into a target range the concentration correspondence value calculated after start of the drive control which is started after the preliminary control is executed in a state in which a reference gas having a known concentration is introduced into the gas sensor.

摘要: [Objective] To provide a gas sensor in which the insulation among conduction members is stably secured through stable maintenance of the insulation property of a separator provided within a sheath, whereby a normal output can be obtained from a detection element.[Means for Solution] Coating layers 64 and 69 of fluorine or a fluorine compound are formed on the surface of a separator 60 (a front separator 61 and a rear separator 66) of an NOx sensor. The coating layers 64 and 69 have water impermeability and water repellency. Even in the case where moisture contained in the atmosphere within a sheath 30 forms dew on the surface of the separator 60, the coating layers 64 and 69 having water impermeability prevent soaking of moisture into the separator 60, to thereby secure the insulation property of the separator 60. Also, the coating layers 64 and 69 having water repellency prevent a water droplet from spreading on the surface of the separator 60 with resultant formation of a film of water, to thereby prevent flow of leakage current via a film of water.

摘要: In an oxygen sensor control apparatus, a CPU obtains a correction coefficient for calibrating the relation between output value of an oxygen sensor and oxygen concentration when a fuel cut operation is performed. When the amount of scavenging air (total supply amount of air) becomes equal to or greater than a predetermined amount in each fuel cut period, the CPU calculates an average output value Ipav from a plurality of output values (concentration corresponding values) Ipr of the oxygen sensor, from which values deviating from a predetermined range R1 have been removed. Subsequently, the CPU averages the values obtained in a plurality of fuel cut periods to thereby obtain a plural-time average output value Ipavf. The CPU obtains a correction coefficient for correcting the actual output value Ip of the oxygen sensor 20 on the basis of the Ipavf value and a previously set reference output value.

摘要: The vibration suppressing device includes vibration sensors, a FFT calculating unit, a store device, a calculating unit, and a NC device. The vibration sensors detect a time-domain vibrational acceleration of a rotary shaft during rotating. The FFT calculating unit calculates a frequency of chatter vibration and a frequency-domain vibrational acceleration in the frequency of chatter vibration on the basis of the detected time-domain vibrational acceleration. The store device stores the frequency-domain vibrational acceleration, the frequency of chatter vibration and the like as machining information. When the calculated maximum frequency-domain acceleration exceeds a predetermined threshold value, the calculating unit stores the maximum acceleration, the frequency of chatter vibration, and the like as current machining information in the store device, and calculates an optimal rotation speed of the rotary shaft, by which the chatter vibration can be suppressed, based on the current machining information and previous machining information stored in the store device. The NC device rotates the rotary shaft at the optimal rotation speed.
