摘要： An IC socket comprises socket board having a plurality of contacts for contacting corresponding lead terminals of an IC package, and a movable plate closed with respect to an upper surface of the socket board. The contacts are brought into contact with the corresponding lead terminals when the movable plate is laterally moved in one direction along the upper surface of the socket board, and the contacts are moved out of contact with the corresponding lead terminals when the movable plate is laterally moved in the other direction. The IC socket further comprises at least one block integrally formed on each of two opposite side edges of one of the movable plate and the socket board, which side edges are parallel with the lateral movement direction of the movable plate relative to the socket board. On each of the two opposite side edges, a pin is inserted into the at least one block so as to be fixed to and movable with the at least one block. At least one pin restricting piece is integrally formed on each of the opposite side edges of the other of the movable plate and the socket board, which side edges are parallel with the lateral movement direction of the movable plate relative to the socket board. The pin restricting pieces are respectively slidingly abutted against surfaces of the pins.

摘要： The present invention provides a light-emitting body in which fine phosphor particles are dispersed in an oxide matrix, with the fine phosphor particles containing at least one selected from oxides and oxysulfides as a parent material. When this light-emitting body is dispersed in a resin, a resin composition having excellent transparency can be obtained. This light-emitting body can be produced by: preparing a gel through a sol-gel process in which a raw material solution containing a compound that supplies metal atoms composing the fine phosphor particles is used; and heating the gel at 400° C. or higher, for example. Preferably, the light-emitting body has a shape of a flake or fiber.

摘要： An electric motor is disclosed wherein a positive magnetic pole winding and a negative magnetic winding for each of plural phases in each of two systems are wound respectively around two teeth adjoining each other of those teeth which are arranged circumferentially on an internal surface of a stator to protrude radially inwardly. Thus, in either one of the case that the rotor is rotated by the excitation of all the windings in both of the two systems and the case that it is rotated by the excitation of the windings in either one of the two systems, the windings adjoining each other serve as a set and magnetically attract the rotor thereby to rotate the same. In either case, the position sensor is able to precisely detect the position of the rotor relative to the windings. As a result, the torque ripple which occurs when the rotor is switched from being rotated by the excitation of the windings in the two systems to being rotated by the excitation of the windings in either one system only can be suppressed, so that the electric motor can be driven smoothly.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a plasma display panel, which comprises the steps of filling a barrier rib-forming paste containing glass frit in a barrier ribs-forming intaglio and concurrently forming a paste layer having a constant thickness on the intaglio, superimposing a substrate on the barrier ribs-forming intaglio filled with the barrier rib-forming paste containing glass frit to thereby transfer the barrier rib-forming paste onto the substrate, and heating the barrier rib-forming paste that has been transferred to the substrate, thereby burning out existing organic components and concurrently sintering the glass frit to thereby form the barrier ribs and dielectric layer. The plasma display panel manufactured by this method is featured in that the barrier ribs and the dielectric layer are formed using the same barrier rib-forming material containing a low melting point glass frit.
