摘要: There is provided a position control apparatus and method for a table member which is capable of controlling the positioning of the table through very small displacement thereof, to thereby prevent the position of the table from deviating even when a disturbance such as vibration is applied to the table. A table member is movable relative to the base member in a predetermined direction. A threaded shaft is rotatably mounted on a base member and elastically deformable when twisted. A motor is coupled to one end of the threaded shaft, for rotating the threaded shaft to displace the table member. A pressurizing and fixing member is arranged in the vicinity of a location where the motor is coupled to the threaded shaft, for pressurizing the threaded shaft to be fixed in position.

摘要: The distal end of a flange of a stator serving as a contact member is located on the outer peripheral side of one linear portion of an elastic member serving as a vibration member, and the inner peripheral side of this linear portion of the elastic member is located on the proximal side of the flange. The ratio of the response amplitude of the flange of the stator to the amplitude of the elastic member is kept almost constant in all areas of contact portions between the two members.

摘要: There is disclosed a sheet feeding device having at least two vibration members pinching a sheet, which is frictionally driven by the travelling vibration waves generated in the vibration members. The device is further provided with a detector for detecting the state of vibration of the vibration members and generating a signal corresponding to the phase difference between the vibrations. The signal is used for correcting the vibration state of the vibrations members, thus significantly reducing the unevenness in the sheet feeding.

摘要: The present invention relates to a vibration wave motor which is configured to prevent abnormal noise from being produced at a start time or a stop time and, more particularly, to a control device for a vibration wave motor which obtains a driving force by applying a periodic voltage to an electro-mechanical energy conversion element so as to generate in a vibration member thereof a plurality of standing waves having a phase difference therebetween, the plurality of standing waves being synthesized to generate a driving vibration in the vibration member. The control device comprises a frequency control circuit which varies a frequency of the periodic voltage and, when a driving force of the vibration wave motor is to be stopped, varies the periodic voltage so as to achieve a predetermined frequency at which a rotational speed of the vibration wave motor becomes zero, and a voltage control circuit which gradually lowers a voltage level of the periodic voltage to a predetermined voltage and then, after the frequency control circuit varies the frequency so as to achieve the predetermined frequency, stops energization of the vibration wave motor.
