The metal oxide particle includes at least a first metal oxide and a second metal oxide. Moreover, the metal oxide particle has at least one peak in an X-ray diffraction analysis. The peak is located between a first peak in the X-ray diffraction analysis of the first metal oxide and a second peak in the X-ray diffraction analysis of the second metal oxide. The first peak and the second peal have the same plane orientation as the plane orientation indicated by the peak.

    摘要: It is a method for manufacturing a plasma display panel having a discharge space, and a protective layer opposed to the discharge space. A gas containing a reducing organic gas is introduced into the discharge space, and the protective layer is exposed to the reducing organic gas. Then, the reducing organic gas is emitted from the discharge space. Then, a discharge gas is enclosed in the discharge space. The protective layer contains at least a first metal oxide and a second metal oxide. Furthermore, the protective layer has at least one peak in an X-ray diffraction analysis. The peak exists between a first peak of the first metal oxide in the X-ray diffraction analysis, and a second peak of the second metal oxide in the X-ray analysis. The first peak and the second peak show the same surface orientation as a surface orientation shown by the peak.

    摘要: A self-emission road device includes light emitting elements and a power unit, and has the light emitting elements emit light through a light emitting face of a protective board set at an upper part of the self-emission road device. For each light emitting face, four emission units are provided. Out of the four emission units, two emission units are designed for a straight road and light beams from these emission units are emitted in a direction whose horizontal component is perpendicular to the light emitting face. Two other emission units are designed for a curve and light beams from these emission units are emitted in a direction whose horizontal component forms a predetermined angle with the direction whose horizontal component is perpendicular to the light emitting face. The emission units for the straight road and curve are set in alternate order. When the emission units for the curve are provided for two light emitting faces that are diametrically opposite to each other, the light beams passing through the two different light emitting faces are emitted in the respective directions tilting toward the same side.

    摘要: A PDP capable of lowering a discharge initiating voltage with a weak discharge always stabilized during an initialization period even if a Xe partial pressure ratio to a total pressure in discharge gas is increased, improving an image quality with the occurrence of an initializing bright point prevented, preventing the lowering of a light emission efficiency and brightness, and improving brightness; and a production method for simply producing the PDP. The PDP comprises a front panel and a rear panel disposed facing each other with a discharge space provided between them. A fluorescent layer is formed in the area on the discharge space side of the rear panel, and a fluorescent film as a high γ portion is formed in part of the area of its surface. The fluorescent film is formed of a material higher in secondary electron emission coefficient γ than a fluorescent material constituting the fluorescent layer. Part of the surface of the fluorescent layer is covered with the fluorescent film, with the other part facing the discharge space.
