    摘要: An air conditioning apparatus for a rear seat of a vehicle includes a centrifugal fan disposed at a downstream air side of an evaporator. The centrifugal fan is a backward curved fan having a plurality of blades each of which is curved backward relative to a rotation direction of the centrifugal fan. In the centrifugal fan, because a main component of velocity vector is in a radial direction of the centrifugal fan, a dynamical-pressure component of air blown from the centrifugal fan can be effectively changed to a hydrostatic-pressure component. Thus, during a cooler mode where air is simultaneously blown from first and second air outlets toward the rear space of the passenger compartment, a pressure of air blown from the first and second air outlets can be increased, and an amount of air blown toward the rear space of the passenger compartment can be sufficiently increased.

Cool air from the first cool air bypass passage and warm air having passed through the heater core are mixed in a first air mixing chamber, and a ratio between an amount of cool air and an amount of warm air is adjusted by an air mixing film member. Further, cool air from the second cool air bypass passage and warm air from the heater core are mixed in a second air mixing chamber, a ratio between an amount of cool air and an amount of warm air is adjusted by an air mixing door, and the second air mixing chamber is provided at an immediately downstream air side of the heater core. Thus, in the air conditioning apparatus, a pressure loss in a ventilation system can be reduced.

    摘要: A vehicle air-conditioning system that independently controls left-right air flow distribution in correspondence with left and right heat loads during a maximum cooling mode. In the system, blowout air flow is increased when driver seat side and passenger seat side air-mixing film members are both positioned in a maximum cooling position, and the heat load has risen in only one of a driver seat side space and a passenger seat side space in a passenger compartment. Further, each respective film member is operated to fully open a cool air bypass passage on the side on which the heat load has risen and the respective film member corresponding to the side on which the heat load has not risen significantly is operated to reduce the open area of the cool air bypass passage. At the same time, fan speed is increased to increase the air blow amount.

    摘要: A deodorizing filter for adsorbing malodorous particles in air is disposed at a downstream air side of a circumferential wall of an inside/outside air switching rotary door which opens and closes inside and outside air intake ports. A gap having a predetermined distance is provided between the deodorizing filter and the circumferential wall of the rotary door. The deodorizing filter is rotated integrally with the rotary door. When the rotary door is rotated to open both the outside and inside air intake ports at their intermediately opened positions, the inside air flowing from the inside air intake port directly flows into an outlet side of an inside/outside air switching box, and the outside air introduced from the outside air intake port passes through the gap and the deodorizing filter and flows into the outlet side of the inside/outside air switching box.
