    摘要： A light-sensitive image-forming material which has on a support a coloring layer comprising a coloring agent and an alkali soluble organic macromolecular binder, and a photopolymer layer, in the order listed, with the coloring layer further containing a particular fluorine-containing surface active agent, whereby uniform film thickness is ensured to the coloring layer even when drying is carried out in a short time using simple equipment. The fluorine-containing surface active agent is a copolymer comprising as repeating units (1) an acrylate or a methacrylate which has a fluorinated alphatic group containing from 3 to 20 carbon atoms and not less than 40 wt % of fluorine atoms, with the aliphatic group having a terminal moiety containing at least 3 fluorinated carbon atoms, and (2) a poly(oxyalkylene)acrylate or a poly(oxyalkylene)methacrylate. In addition, the portion of the fluorinated aliphatic group-containing acrylate or methacrylate repeating unit is from 10 to 70% by weight.

    摘要： An aqueous alkaline developing solution comprises an alkali compound, water and an alkylnaphthalene sulfonate having the following formula: ##STR1## in which R represents an alkyl group of 3 to 5 carbon atoms and q is 0 or an integer of 1 to 3, in the amount of 1 to 20 weight %. The aqueous alkaline developing solution further contains an anionic surface active agent of the specific sulfonate compound having a naphthalene ring and a polypolyoxyethylene moiety, in the amount of 0.1 to 10 weight % and an nonionic surface active agent having a polyoxyethylene moiety and an aromatic ring in its structure in the amount of 0.03 to 3 weight %, or contains an anionic surface active agent of the specific sulfonate compound having the specific aralkyl-substituted benzene ring and a polypolyoxyethylene moiety.

    摘要： Disclosed is an image forming process employing a light-sensitive image forming material and a developing solution. The image forming material comprises a support and either a light-sensitive resin layer containing a pigment or a colorant layer containing a pigment and a light-sensitive resin layer, superposed in order. The process comprises the steps of imagewise exposing the image forming material to light and developing the material by the use of an alkaline developing solution containing at least one of compounds having the following formula (1): ##STR1## wherein each of R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 independently represents hydrogen, an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms which may be substituted or an aryl group which may be substituted, M.sup.1 represents hydrogen, potassium or an ammonium group, Y represents hydrogen or --SO.sub.3 M.sub.2 (in which M.sup.2 represents sodium, potassium or an ammonium group and M.sup.2 may be the same as or different from M.sup.1) and n represents a number in the range of 1 to 1000; to form an image on the support.

    摘要： A process for preparing a color proofing sheet is disclosed. The process comprises imagewise exposing a light-sensitive image-forming material comprising a transparent support having provided thereon a dye- or pigment-containing light-sensitive photoresist composition layer or both a dye- or pigment-containing colorant layer and a light-sensitive photoresist composition layer through a color separation mask, developing the material to form a color separation image, transferring the color separation image onto a photopolymerizable image-receiving layer, transferring in registration at least one more color separation image onto the same image-receiving layer to obtain a multicolored color proofing sheet on a single support, and totally exposing the image-receiving layer after the image transfer in an amount sufficient to induce photopolymerization thereof. A color proofing sheet realizing color reproduction essentially the same as actual print copies and has a good image strength and non-tackiness can be obtained by the process.
