摘要： A driving support device includes an image-capturer that captures side rear images of a vehicle, a distance measurer that measures a distance between the vehicle and another vehicle, and a vehicle detector that detects the another vehicle in the captured images. A superimposed image generator calculates a distance of units of the vehicle length based on information concerning the vehicle length stored in a vehicle length information storage and the distance to the another vehicle detected by the distance measurer, and generates a superimposed image based on the calculated distance. A display image generator synthesizes the generated superimposed image on a side peripheral image including the captured side rear images, and displays the image on a display installed in a position at which the field of front vision of the driver is not obstructed.

摘要： An aspect of the invention provides an information display apparatus and an information display method which allow a driver to easily recognize the display information without discomfort, regardless of the traveling state of a vehicle. It includes an attention object detecting unit (32) which detects information to be displayed to the driver, a symbol image selecting unit (33) which sets a symbol image to be displayed for the driver, an optical flow calculating unit (34a) which detects an optical flow of a foreground of the own vehicle, a motion effect determining unit (35) which sets a motion effect to be added to the symbol image, a display image generating unit (36) which generates a display image in which the motion effect added by the motion effect determining unit is combined with the symbol image, and a display control unit (37) which displays the generated display image for the driver. The motion effect determining unit (35) changes the motion effect to be added to the symbol image in accordance with the traveling state of the vehicle.

摘要： Disclosed are a driving support device, a driving support method, and a program, which are capable of relieving driver's concern by making it possible to easily identify the travelling position of a vehicle in a lane. Specifically disclosed is a driving support device (100) which is provided with: a lane detection unit (120) for detecting the right and left ends of a lane on which a vehicle is travelling from a captured image; a vehicle position calculating unit (130) for calculating the displacement direction and displacement amount toward the lane width direction of the vehicle relative to the center of the lane on which the vehicle is travelling; and a display image generating unit (140) for generating a display image in which a vehicle image (330) is displaced in the center of the travelling lane from the position of a lane center marker (320) toward the lane width direction in accordance with the displacement direction and displacement amount that are calculated by the vehicle position calculating unit (130), and superimposed on a lane image composed of lane boundary markers (310) indicating the right and left ends of the lane and the lane center marker (320) indicating the center of the travelling lane.

摘要： Provided are a driving support device, a driving support method, and a program, in which the driver can more intuitively and accurately determine the distance to another vehicle in the side rear. A driving support device (100) is provided with an image-capturing section (110) for capturing side rear images of the vehicle, a distance measuring section (120) for measuring the distance between the vehicle and the another vehicle, and a vehicle detection section (130) for detecting the another vehicle in the captured images, wherein a superimposed image generating section (140) calculates the distance of units of the vehicle length units on the basis of information concerning the vehicle length stored in a vehicle length information storage section (150) and the distance to the another vehicle detected by the distance measuring section (120), and generates a superimposed image on the basis of the calculated distance. A display image generating section (160) synthesizes the generated superimposed image on a side peripheral image including the captured side rear images, and displays the image on a display section (170) installed in a position at which the field of front vision of the driver is not obstructed.
