摘要: The invention provides a solid phosphoric acid catalyst which has high activity and attains high dimer selectivity in olefin dimerization reactions and efficient methods of olefin dimerization. The solid phosphoric acid catalyst comprises a carrier and phosphoric acid supported thereon. When the solid phosphoric acid catalyst is heated at 250° C. for 20 minutes, heating loss of water is 50 mass % or more based on diphosphorus pentoxide (P2O5) derived from the phosphoric acid. A method of olefin dimerization comprises bringing an olefin-containing feed material containing water in an amount of 10-1000 mass ppm into contact with the catalyst to initiate the reaction.

摘要: A solid phosphoric acid catalyst which has high activity and attains high dimer selectivity in olefin dimerization reactions; and efficient methods of olefin dimerization reaction. When the solid phosphoric acid catalyst is heated at 250° C. for 20 minutes, heating loss of water is 50 mass % or more based on diphosphorus pentaoxide (P2O5) derived from the phosphoric acid. One of the methods of olefin dimerization reaction comprises bringing an olefin-containing feed material containing water in an amount of 10-1000 mass ppm into contact with the catalyst to initiate the reaction. Another method of olefin dimerization reaction comprises successively conducting the following steps: a step (1) in which a hydrocarbon containing water in an amount of 10-1000 mass ppm and containing substantially no olefin is brought into contact with the above mentioned catalyst; a step (2) in which the pressure and temperature are regulated to conditions suitable for the initiation of olefin dimerization reaction; and a step (3) in which the hydrocarbon is displaced with an olefin-containing feed material containing water in an amount of 10-1000 mass ppm to bring the olefin into contact with the solid phosphoric acid catalyst and thereby to initiate the reaction. Still another method is the olefin dimerization reaction method described above wherein the temperature in the reaction initiation conditions is higher by 5-50° C. than the reaction•temperature in olefin dimerization in a stationary state after the step (3).

摘要: Boron trifluoride can be recovered in a reusable state by a method that is economical and does not cause environmental pollution, which method comprises the steps of bringing a fluid containing boron trifluoride or its complex into contact with metal fluoride so as to selectively adsorb and remove boron trifluoride in the complex and heating the resultant metal tetrafluoroborate at a temperature in the range of 100 to 600° C. to separate it into boron trifluoride and metal fluoride. By applying the method to a process for producing polybutene or olefin oligomer using boron trifluoride complex catalyst, the catalyst can be recovered with retaining its activity and reused effectively.

摘要: A thermosetting resin composition which is improved in impact resistance, thermal crack resistance, oxidative degradation resistance and thermal degradation resistance without impairing the heat resistance represented by HDT and which is suitable for the encapsulation of semiconductors and the like, is provided. The thermosetting resin composition comprises (A) a thermosetting resin, (B) a liquid polybutene containing an aldehyde gourp and (C) a curing agent added at need thereto, wherein the main component of the liquid polybutene has an aldehyde structure at a terminal and the main chain thereof as a structure in which 80% or more of the repeating unit have a structure represented by the Formula (1). The impact resistance and thermal crack resistance are attained by making a phase structure comprised with resin of the thermosetting resin composition after the curing reaction wherein a μm unit size of a dispersed phase which consists primarily of the component derived from an aldehyde group containing liquid polybutene, exists in a continuous phase which consists primarily of the thermosetting resin.
