摘要： An analog indication type electronic timepiece includes a power generation device for transforming kinetic energy produced by motions of a user into electric energy and for causing the electric energy to output from a magnetic coil as an electric charging energy; a secondary power source charged by said electric charging energy; a timepiece circuit driven by a charged energy from said secondary power source to output motor drive pulses; and a drive motor including a drive coil and a drive rotor rotatably driven when the drive coil is energized by said motor drive pulses. This analog indication type electronic timepiece further includes an anti-overcharging device forming a bypass circuit for causing said electric charging energy to bypass relative to said secondary power source when the voltage at said secondary power source reaches a predetermined level, thereby preventing the overcharging to the secondary power source; and a current limiting device for forcedly limiting the bypass current flowing through said bypass circuit when the motor drive pulses are being output from said timepiece circuit, whereby an accurate analog time indication can be made while preventing a malfunction in the drive motor during the anti-overcharging operation to the secondary power source.

摘要： The printing apparatus of the present invention comprises a scanner unit for reading an image in an original; an instruction unit for receiving an instruction from a user and instructing operation of reading the image with the scanner unit; and a printer unit for printing the image that has been read on a medium. In the printing apparatus of the present invention, each reading operations with the scanner unit is started by receiving an instruction from the user with the instruction unit when the reading operation is to be performed with the scanner unit for a plurality of number of times and a plurality of the images that have been read are to be printed in their respective predetermined positions on the medium. The printing apparatus makes it possible to perform N-up printing of a new procedure that is different from conventional N-up printing.

摘要： Diverse initiator modules, member modules, and terminator modules are provided to actualize various functionalities of a printer in various combinations of these modules. A data processing path controller DPC arranges a sequence of plural modules to execute a selected printing process. Each module is not informed of the structures of the other modules in combination or the details of the processing executed by the other modules. Each module that allows a relevant module to read data therefrom and each module that allows a relevant module to write data therein are designed to respectively have a specific function for the data reading and a specific function for the data writing. In response to a call from the data processing path controller DPC, these modules transfer pointers of the corresponding functions to the individual relevant modules and accordingly allow the individual relevant modules to read data therefrom and write data therein.This arrangement of the invention ensures consistency of an additional functionality, which is to be newly incorporated in the printer, with multiple existing functionalities.

摘要： A film fabrication method for forming a film over a substrate in a processing chamber includes a first film formation process and a second film formation process. In the first film formation process, (a) a first step of supplying a first source gas containing a metal-organic compound and without containing a halogen element into the chamber and then removing the first source gas from the chamber, and (b) a second step of supplying a second source gas containing hydrogen or a hydrogen compound into the chamber and then removing the second source gas from the chamber, are repeated a predetermined number of times. In the second film formation process, (c) a third step of supplying a third source gas containing a metal halide compound into the chamber and then removing the third gas from the chamber, and (d) a fourth step of supplying a plasma-activated fourth source gas containing hydrogen or a hydrogen compound into the chamber and then removing the fourth source gas from the chamber, are repeated a predetermined number of times.
