摘要: An instrument for introducing a catheter into a blood vessel includes an inner needle portion having an inner needle, and a dilator portion having a dilator, the latter including first and second insertion portions. The first insertion portion, which has a comparatively small diameter and a length no less than the distance from a patient's skin to the blood vessel wall, is formed at the tip of the dilator from which a cutting edge at the tip of the inner needle is capable of protruding. The second insertion portion, which has a comparatively large diameter and a length no less than the above length, is smoothly connected to the first insertion portion by a tapered intermediate segment. Also provided is a sheath portion through which a catheter is capable of being passed under liquid-tight conditions.

摘要: A catheter introducer includes a hollow sheath extending continuously from a base end portion thereof to a distal end portion thereof, and a hollow hub having a connection portion for connecting the hub to the sheath in such a manner that the hub and sheath partially overlap. A reinforcing coil body is fitted in the connection portion and extends axially of the sheath from the connection portion toward the distal end of the sheath to a point beyond the connection portion. The hub has a valve for enabling a catheter to be passed therethrough under liquid-tight conditions.

摘要: A medical instrument having a path for receiving a bar-like member and a combination of valves provided in the path. The combination of valves comprises a first disc-like valve having a first slit open only to one of the end faces thereof and a second slit open only to the other of the end faces thereof, the first and second slits crossing each other to form a distance of intersection inside the first valve, and a second disc-like valve disposed in parallel to the first valve and having a slit opening to both end faces thereof. The slit of the second valve crosses the intersection point of the first valve so that the bar-like member passes through the slit of the second valve as well as the intersection of the first valve when it is inserted.

摘要: A medical instrument comprises a main body having a path formed therethrough, through which a tubular member is insertable or drawable. A valve body is provided in the path of the main body, maintaining at least a liquid-tight state with the rod-like member, when the path is opened by the rod-like member inserted through the path, and closing the path at least in the liquid-tight state, when the rod-like member is not inserted through the path. The valve body has two end faces. The valve body is formed with a first slit openable in one of the end faces and a second slit openable in the other of the end faces. The first slit and the second slit cross each other in the valve body.In consequence, rod-like members being of widely varied outer diameters are inserted through the path of the main body and held therein in a liquid-tight state to thereby reliably prevent blood leakage. Also, blood flow-out when the rod-like member or members are abruptly withdrawn from the path of the main body is reliably prevented. Further, a single valve body is provided so that the construction of the medical instrument can be simplified.

摘要: A medical device has an outer cylinder and an outer cylinder hub which has a hollow portion communicating with the interior of the outer cylinder and fixed to a proximal portion of the outer cylinder. An inner cylinder is provided which can be detachably inserted into the outer cylinder through the hollow portion of the outer cylinder hub. An inner cylinder hub is provided which has a hollow portion communicating with the interior of the inner cylinder, can be fitted within the outer cylinder hub, and is connected to a proximal portion of the inner cylinder. Means is arranged between the outer and inner cylinder hubs, for preventing relative axial movement of the outer and inner cylinder hubs when the inner cylinder is inserted into the outer cylinder and the inner cylinder hub is fitted into the outer cylinder hub. Means is arranged between the outer and inner cylinder hubs, for preventing relative circumferential rotation of the outer and inner cylinder hubs.

摘要: A sequence allocating method and apparatus wherein in a system where a plurality of different Zadoff-Chu sequences or GCL sequences are allocated to a single cell, the arithmetic amount and circuit scale of a correlating circuit at a receiving end can be reduced. In ST201, a counter (a) and a number (p) of current sequence allocations are initialized, and in ST202, it is determined whether the number (p) of current sequence allocations is coincident with a number (K) of allocations to one cell. In ST203, it is determined whether the number (K) of allocations to the one cell is odd or even. If K is even, in ST204-ST206, sequence numbers (r=a and r=N−a), which are not currently allocated, are combined and then allocated. If K is odd, in ST207-ST212, for sequences that cannot be paired, one of sequence numbers (r=a and r=N−a), which are not currently allocated, is allocated.

摘要: This invention relates to a sensing method and a sensing device for quantifying the concentration of an analyte by using the property that interaction between an analyte and a labeled compound changes fluorescence intensity. A fluorescence sensor is used to acquire fluorescence intensity at predetermined quantification time points. Then, the concentration of an analyte is quantified in accordance with a non-steady concentration quantification law comprising the relationship between the acquired fluorescence intensity and the time derivative quantity thereof.
