摘要: A method of performing channel estimation for a radio channel between a transmitter and a receiver of a radio access network, RAN comprises the step of performing an initial channel estimation (204) of the radio channel for each of a plurality of frequency ranges (502), based on a radio signal received on the radio channel from the transmitter, the radio signal comprising a signal sequence (510) out of the set of signal sequences (510) in each of the frequency ranges (502), to obtain an initial channel estimate (504) for each frequency range (502), and applying a filter (206) to the initial channel estimates (504) for the frequency ranges (502), a length (508) of the filter (206) in the frequency domain being greater than lengths of the frequency ranges (502), to obtain a filtered channel estimate (506) for all subcarriers (406) in the respective one of the frequency ranges (502).

摘要: The scheduling flexibility of CSI reference signals enables time and frequency synchronization using multiple non-zero CSI-RSs transmitted in the same subframe, or using CSI-RSs transmitted in the same subframe with other synchronization signals. Also, multiple synchronization signals may be scheduled in the same subframe to enable fine time and frequency synchronization without cell-specific reference signals.

摘要: Method for performing an unscheduled uplink transmission by a user equipment UE, in an unlicensed portion of a radio spectrum, the method comprising: performing, by the UE, a listen before talk, LBT, operation in the unlicensed portion of the radio spectrum, wherein the LBT operation includes sensing the portion of the radio spectrum for a pre-determined minimum amount of time for traffic; and performing, if no traffic was sensed, the unscheduled uplink transmission, by the UE, of data in an unscheduled mode of operation for at least one transmission burst.

摘要: A method of operating a wireless communication device comprises identifying a first start position for performing uplink (UL) transmission in unlicensed spectrum during a first transmission time interval, performing UL transmission in the first transmission time interval (TTI) according to the first start position, identifying a second start position for performing UL transmission in unlicensed spectrum during a second TTI, wherein the first and second start positions correspond to different symbol offsets within the respective first and second TTIs, and performing UL transmission in the second TTI according to the second start position.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed herein that relate to multiple candidate starting points for a transmit burst in unlicensed spectrum. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a radio access node for performing a transmit burst in an unlicensed spectrum comprises transmitting a transmit burst in an unlicensed spectrum, wherein the transmit burst spans multiple subframes/slots and the transmitting of the transmit burst starts at one of a plurality of candidate starting points defined in at least a first subframe/slot of the transmit burst that occurs after successful completion of a Listen-Before-Talk (LBT) procedure for the transmit burst. In this manner, a radio access node (e.g., an enhanced or evolved Node B (eNB) in Long Term Evolution (LTE)) has flexibility to transmit a downlink transmit burst starting at different starting positions based on LBT outcome.

In another embodiment, an apparatus operable in a communication system and including processing circuitry is configured to associate a time domain allocation with a RNTI identifying a user equipment, and provide an indication of the time domain allocation in downlink control information to allow the user equipment to employ the time domain allocation associated with the RNTI for transmissions associated therewith.
