    摘要: Method for welding cutter-segments characterized by focusing an electron beam or a laser beam on the boundary between a carbon-steel core body (7) and segments (1). Each segment is formed by a Co (cobalt) powder compact, containing diamond or CBN grit, which has been sintered to nearly 100% apparent density. The boundary may or may not have Ni (nickel)-filler. In cases of bond materials other than Co, the segment (1) has a structure of double layers (4, 5), one layer of which is composed of a powder compact, containing diamond or CBN grit, which has been sintered to nearly 100% apparent density, and the other layer (5) of which is composed of a sintered Co powder compact without any grit. The carbon-steel core body (7) welded by the above-mentioned method is thereafter tempered at 350.degree.-450.degree. C. if necessary. A steel core having no slot at its periphery may be used as the core body.

The detection pipe (14) has an internal vibration plate (12) attached with a vibrating piezo-electric device (16) thereon and the internal vibration plate (12) is mechanically connected through an end cap (13) to the free end of the detection pipe (14, 140) to form a folded cantilever unit (30) which responds when the end cap (13) or pipe (14) are contacted by the material being sensed in the container.

    摘要: A method of producing a rotary dresser include forming a core piece of an iron-base powder and filling in tungsten or like metal powder between the core and an outer mold member containing diamond grit or the like. The construction is then heated to melt and infiltrate a metal alloy, such that a network structure is formed about the powdered metal particles. In a further embodiment, the metal materials may be arranged in concentric form about a metal bushing such that the bushing is included in the final structure.
