摘要: Compounds described by the Formula (I) or (II): or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, or N-oxides thereof. The compounds are useful for the treatment and prevention of protozoal diseases in mammals and birds. A method for controlling coccidiosis in poultry comprises administering an effective amount of the compound alone, or in combination with one or more anticoccidieal agent(s). A composition for controlling coccidiosis in poultry comprises the compound alone, or in combination with one or more anticoccidial agent(s). Methods for the treatment and prevention of mammalian protozoal diseases, such as, for example, toxoplasmosis, malaria. African typanosomiasis, Chagas disease, and opportunistic infections comprise administering the compound alone, or in combination with one or more antiprotozoal agent(s).

摘要: A two-piece fusion cage having ramped interior surfaces. One advantage of such a cage is its easy insertion. In a first step, the lower component is inserted into the disc space and is held in place. The first step confirms placement of the implant and its footprint. In a second step, the upper component is inserted into the disc space by sliding its interior surface along the opposed interior surface of the lower component. This two-step method of insertion eliminates the need to provide an independent distraction means.

摘要: A device for performing a surgical procedure on a knee includes an adjustable femoral portion, a tibial portion and at least one sensor coupled with the femoral and/or tibial portions to sense pressure exerted by the a moral and tibial portions against one another. The femoral portion is adapted for removably coupling with a distal end of a femur to adjust tension in soft tissue adjacent the knee and has at least one positioning feature adapted to move relative to the distal end of the femur as the femoral portion is adjusted, thus helping position a femoral prosthetic on the distal end of the femur. The sensor(s) may be adapted to sense pressure at medial and lateral sides of the knee, and relative pressures may be displayed as data on a visual display. Adjustments to the femoral member may be made to balance pressure at flexion and extension of the knee.

摘要: Methods and apparatus are disclosed to identify and associate video content. In one implementation, a method is provided that includes requesting a webpage by a user computer and determining whether a keyword is present on the webpage requested by the user computer. Furthermore, the method includes creating a link on the webpage from the keyword to the video file and displaying the video file when the link is activated.

摘要: A fabric may be used in high visibility personal protection clothing. The yarn is capable of being dyed to a high visibility color and a non-fusible yarn are combined in a single fabric so as to provide a fabric which not only has heat and flame resistance but can also be dyed to high visibility colors. In particular, the fabric includes a flame retardant dyeable yarn and a non-fusible fibre yarn, wherein the yarns form a double faced fabric. The fabric may be a double faced weave wherein the flame retardant yarn is a flame retardant polyester and the non-fusible yarn is an aramid yarn.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a customizable bio-manufacturing system which includes a manufacturing space having a first air handling system for providing supply air and a second air handling system for handling exhaust air, the supply air system being optionally provided with at least one of filtration, heating, cooling and or humidity control and a plurality of portable modules provided within the manufacturing space. At least one module having an interior capable of being interconnected with another module interior and each module's interior includes one or more components to perform at least one specific task of a biological, chemical, and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing process. At least one module includes an on-board environmental control system for controlling an environment within the module and a connection means for interconnecting the module interior with another module interior. The system also includes a central controller operating to at least perform one or more of operation and information collection for the operation of at least one of the system and one or more modules.
