    摘要： A recording material made of an alloy capable of exhibiting different spectral reflectances at an equal temperature, depending on a heating-cooling cycle to which the alloy is subjected. The alloy can possess in solid state different crystal structures at a first temperature higher than the room temperature and at a second temperature lower than the first temperature but not lower than the room temperature. A part of the surface of the alloy exhibits, as a result of being quenched from the first temperature, a crystal structure which is different from the crystal structure at the second temperature, while the other part possesses the crystal structure at the second temperature, so that these two parts exhibit different spectral reflectances. Using this recording medium, it is possible to record, reproduce and erase information by means of, for example, laser beams.

    摘要： The present invention discloses a connector comprising: an insulating substrate having a plurality of through-holes and having a desired first circuit pattern formed on the substrate; female contactors each being formed and fixed around the edge of the through-hole and having an opening, an edge of which extends inwardly of the through-hole, said female contactors being electrically connected to said first pattern; and a male contactor comprising an insulating substrate having a desired second circuit pattern thereon and a plurality of male contactor pins fixed to the substrate and electrically connected to said second pattern, said pins each being located in a position corresponding to each of the openings of said female contactors, wherein said female contactors are made of a thin film of a shape memory alloy and the edge of each of the female contactors is given, before inserting each of the male contactor pins, such a shape memory that the contactor is returned to a position to close the opening when said contactor is subjected to a temperature above the martensitic transition temperature.

    摘要： An alloy having variable spectral reflectance having a composition which essentially consists of Ag, 30 to 46 wt % of Zn and 0.1 to 15 wt % in total of at least one element selected from elements of groups Ia, IIa, Iva, Va, VIa, VIIa, VIII, Ib to Vb and rare earth elements, the alloy being able to have different crystal structures, one of which is obtained when it is held in solid state at a first temperature above the room temperature, another of which is obtained when the same is held in the solid state at a second temperture lower than said first temperature. Disclosed also is an information recording medium made of the alloy. The alloy exhibits a reversible change in color or spectral reflectance as a result of change between two crystal phases, so that the information recording medium produced from this alloy can be used effectively as the medium for recording, regeneration and erasion of the informations.

    摘要： An apparatus for producing a metal ribbon has a rotary roll. Molten metal is poured from a heated nozzle onto the outer peripheral surface of the roll to form a solidified metal ribbon on the roll surface. To facilitate easy separation of the metal ribbon from the roll surface, a jet of a non-oxidizing gas is directed to the point of separation of the ribbon from the roll surface. The roll surface just upstream of the metal-pouring nozzle is enclosed by a cover the inside of which is evacuated to assure intimate contact of the poured metal with the roll surface and thus improve cooling of the poured metal. A heater is provided in the cover to heat the roll surface just upstream of the metal-pouring nozzle for thereby removing dew droplets and ambient gases from the roll surface whereby the formation of depressions or recesses in the roll-containing ribbon surface is prevented.

    摘要： A technique of frequency hopping communication capable of high-speed switching of a plurality of signals having ultra-wide band 528 MHz bandwidth at high-speed and setting and switching a band center frequency and the number of bands arbitrary is provided. A radio transceiver has a frequency hopping communication function of UWB system for switching the ultra wide band signal. In the device, high-speed frequency hopping is realized by controlling an SSB mixer in a local oscillator circuit and switching the frequency of a DDS. The device sets NCO data to the DDS and switches a quadrature phase signal of an output, and switches a signal input of an input terminal of the SSB mixer by a control of a phase switching switch. One of a sum component and a difference component of a mixture of first and second quadrature phase signals is outputted from the output terminal of the SSB mixer.
