Abstract: Systems and methods for allocating resources. The system includes a communications module, a processor, and a memory. The memory stores a data record and instructions that, when executed, configure the processor to obtain a data record and transmit an existing score indication corresponding to the data record for display at the client device; receive a first time parameter and an action indicator associated with a shared resource and, in response, determine a first provisional score corresponding to the data record based on the existing score indication, the action indicator, and the first time parameter to provide a first provisional score indication; transmit the first provisional score indication and a selectable option associated with the action indicator for display at the client device while the first provisional score indication is displayed; and in response to receiving a resource transfer instruction, allocate the shared resource associated with the action indicator.

Abstract: This application provides for determining a suggested action initiation time for an interaction with an interacting party. Some aspects comprise: determining an interaction settlement due date; querying an interaction database storing historical interaction records to determine if there is one or more of the historical interaction records related by one or more factors to the interacting party; retrieving, from the interaction database (where there is one or more historical interaction record(s) related to the interacting party), historical interaction data; determining from the retrieved historical interaction data a predicted processing time for the interaction; and determining, based on the interaction settlement due date and the predicted processing time, the suggested action initiation time. The suggested action initiation time comprises a time by which an action for settling the interaction with the interacting party is suggested to be initiated to effect settlement of the interaction by the interaction settlement due date.

Abstract: Methods and devices for generated and handling an alert are described. In one aspect, an electronic device includes an input interface and an output interface. The electronic device also includes a memory storing an application and a processor coupled to the input interface, the output interface and the memory. The processor is configured to generate a selectable alert on the output interface while the electronic device is in a device lock mode. The selectable alert is associated with the secure application. The processor is also configured to, while the electronic device is in the device lock mode, receive, from the input interface, a signal representing a command to activate the selectable alert. The processor is also configured to, responsive to receiving the command to activate the selectable alert, execute a secure event in the secure application while the electronic device remains in the device lock mode.
