    摘要: A visor system for a protective sport helmet wearable on a head of a user is provided. The visor system comprises a visor for protecting at least part of a face of the user. The visor is transparent and comprises left and right connectors. The visor system also comprises left and right visor supports for supporting the visor on left and right sides of the protective sport helmet. The left and right connectors of the visor are toollessly connectable to and toollessly disconnectable from the left and right visor supports to allow the user to toollessly connect the visor to the left and right visor supports and toollessly disconnect the visor from the left and right visor supports. The visor system may be configured to define an open gap from a top edge of the visor to the outer shell.

    摘要: Oriented polyester film primer coated in-line with a hydrolyzed aminosilane is discovered. The aminosilanes in the unhydrolyzed state have the formula:(R.sup.1).sub.a Si(R.sup.2).sub.b (R.sup.3).sub.cwherein R.sup.1 is a functional group with at least one primary amino group; R.sup.2 is a hydrolyzeable group such as a lower alkoxy group, an acetoxy group, or a halide; and R.sup.3 is a nonreactive, nonhydrolyzeable group such as a lower alkyl or a phenyl group; with (a) being greater than or equal to 1; (b) being greater than or equal to 1; (c) being greater than or equal to zero; and with a+b+c=4. The hydrolyzed aminosilane is applied to the film as an aqueous solution at any suitable stage during manufacture of the film, i.e., before, or during, or after the stretching operation, but prior to heat setting the film. The resultant primed polyester film is found to exhibit excellent adhesion to other polymeric materials.

The holder is a single molded plastic piece which has a narrow frontal curved portion and opposed depending rear visor attachment portions. The visor holder is adapted to be secured to a helmet and side mounting brackets are provided for the adjustable attachment of the depending rear visor attachment portions of the holder to a helmet. The holder also has vent holes in a frontal curved portion thereof for moisture release and air exchange.

    摘要: The present invention provides a ladder cover made up of fabric which prevents the marring of the wall from the top edges of the ladder, is enabled to couple to any ladder type and consists of a loop which secures construction tools to the ladder cover. The user wraps the ladder cover around the top edges of the side rails such that it covers the top edges completely. The wrapping of the cover is enabled by the coupling material such as Velcro which secures its position onto the side rails of the ladder. The cover further consists of adjustable loop on its top surface which enable the user to couple at least one construction tool at the time of use.

    摘要: A two-step, sequential coating method is disclosed which permits the use of aqueous precursor solutions to coat water-insoluble compounds onto thermoplastic film. In a preferred embodiment, an aqueous oleic acid/ammonium oleate solution is coated onto amorphous polyester sheet which is subsequently monoaxially oriented by stretching in the machine direction, and coated with an aqueous solution of calcium hydroxide, thereby forming a layer of calcium oleate in situ. The coated film is subsequently biaxially oriented by stretching in the transverse direction, and heat-set.

    摘要: An aqueous coating composition is provided for thermoplastic films comprising(i) from 1 to 10 weight percent, based upon the total weight of the coating composition, of a sulfonated copolyester consisting essentially of the polyester condensation product of the following monomers or their polyester-forming equivalents:(A) about 65 to 95 mole percent of isophthalic acid;(B) about 0 to 30 mole percent of at least one aliphatic dicarboxylic acid of the formula HOOC(CH.sub.2)--.sub.n COOH, wherein n ranges from about 1-11;(C) about 5 to about 15 mole percent of at least one sulfomonomer containing an alkali metal sulfonate group attached to a dicarboxylic aromatic nucleus; and(D) stoichiometric quantities of about 100 mole percent of at least one copolymerizable aliphatic or cycloaliphatic alkylene glycol having about from 2 to 11 carbon atoms,(ii) from 0.05 to 3 weight percent, based upon the total weight of the coating composition, of at least one water soluble alkali metal salt of an unsaturated fatty acid having from 10 to 18 carbon atoms.The aqueous coating composition of the present invention, when applied to thermoplastic films, exhibits at least equivalent adhesion to subsequently applied metallic coatings and also exhibits superior winding performance in comparison to the prior art films.
