摘要： The present invention provides an apparatus for the horizontal stacking of laminations 10 and donuts to form a stator core. A stator generator frame 2 has multiple keybars 6 that run the axial length of the frame. The laminations 10 have grooves 12 there-in that engage the keybars to provide a secure fit of the laminations to the generator frame. By extending two or more of the keybars 6, these extensions 7 may be used as rails on which the laminations may be horizontally inserted into the stator frame.

摘要： A clamp tightness gauge determines the tightness of compressed sections having passages extending between the adjacent sections. The gauge has a frame to which a pair of spaced apart fingers are attached. The fingers have insertable opposed ends adapted to be inserted in a passage extending between adjacent sections. At least one (and preferably both) of the insertable ends is resilient. A wedge member is attached to an arm pivotably attached to the frame and has a tapered end slideably engaged with the insertable ends of the fingers for urging the fingers against the adjacent sections. The pivotable arm is in operative engagement with an externally threaded member moveably mounted on the frame. An indicator is connected to the wedge member for determining the displacement of its tapered end. Another indicator is connected to the pivotable arm for determining the forces exerted on the tapered end of the wedge member by the adjacent sections. Advancing the threaded member against the resilient arm of the pivotable arm causes the tapered end of the member to penetrate into the spaced between the insertable ends of the fingers and the tapered end of the wedge member to urge the fingers against the sections.

摘要： In a stator core for a rotating electromagnetic machine, which core has two axial ends and at least one end shield at one axial end of the core, the end shield being composed of a plurality of thin plates at least one of which is a vent plate, and a vent structure supported by the vent plate, extending axially between the vent plate and an adjacent thin plate and presenting a plurality of radial flow passages for ventilating air, the vent structure is composed of: at least two elongate positioning members extending tranversely to the radial direction of the stator core, secured to the vent plate and having an axial dimension which is smaller than the axial distance between the vent plate and the adjacent thin plate; and a plurality of vent fingers extending generally in the radial direction of the core and held in position at least partially by the positioning members, each vent finger having an axial dimension equal to the axial distance between the vent plate and the adjacent thin plate and a cross section greater than that of each positioning member.
