    摘要: A pharmaceutical composition comprises at least one estrogenic compound, the composition being adapted for application in a unit dose amount to a vulvovaginal surface and having at least one nonlipoidal internal phase and at least one lipoidal external phase that is bioadhesive to the vulvovaginal surface, wherein the at least one estrogenic compound is present in an amount of about 5 to about 1000 μg estradiol equivalent per unit dose of the composition, and upon application of the composition to the vulvovaginal surface the at least one estrogenic compound is released over a period of about 3 hours to about 30 days. The composition is useful for vulvovaginal administration to treat atrophic vaginitis or a disorder associated therewith, for example in a menopausal or postmenopausal woman. A method for treating a hypoestrogenism-related condition of the urogenital system of a female patient comprises intravaginal administration of at least one estrogenic compound according to a treatment regimen wherein a series of compositions releasing a progressively increasing daily amount of the at least one estrogenic compound is administered over a period of at least about 1 month.

    摘要: An N-path filter with each path forming a different filter. A signal insertion block is provided at the start of the circuit and, in one embodiment, multiple memory capacitors are coupled to the signal insertion block. A bank of sequential rotating capacitors are provided along with a bank of switches. By activating selected switches, any of the memory capacitors can be coupled to selected rotating capacitors. A different filter subcircuit is formed by coupling each memory capacitor to different rotating capacitors as this creates a different signal path. By timing the switching of the rotating capacitors, signals from previous outputs can be inserted into the circuit. At the output end of the circuit, the output of the different filter subcircuits is put together into an output for the whole circuit.

    摘要: A digital demodulator which coherently demodulates a low-IF or zero-IF complex signal using a complex-valued phase-locked loop (CPPL). The CPPL includes a numerical controlled oscillator, four multipliers and two combiners to provide independent phase/frequency and amplitude outputs. The CPLL exhibits in first order PLL dynamics without a loop filter in the feedback loop to the NCO. However a filter with one or more poles may be included in the feedback circuit to exhibit 2nd or higher order PLL dynamics. The CPLL allows coherent demodulation of extremely low FM modulation indexes whereby the incoming frequency drift may be larger than the frequency deviation. It can also be used to coherently demodulate signals which have combined amplitude and phase characteristics.
