摘要: An uncoupling tool has a two-module design: one module being a driver assembly for developing the uncoupling movement and the other module being a probe assembly for verifying the uncoupled condition. The probe assembly attaches to the threaded end of the piston tube with its probe extending inside the piston tube. The driver assembly attaches to the CRD ring flange. The probe assembly detects the ring magnet in the drive piston using analog position sensors which operate on the principle of the Hall effect and solid state circuitry. A top sensor provides a signal indicating that the control rod is in its "full out" position; a bottom sensor provides a signal indicating that the control rod is uncoupled; and an intermediate sensor provides a signal indicating that the control rod is in a transition position between the "full out" and uncoupled positions. The probe incorporates spacers which focus the magnetic flux onto the sensors. To uncouple the control rod, the probe assembly is lifted using a separate driver assembly.

摘要: The method comprises an automated technique for making and inserting flexible laminate film barrier liners into the shoulder/nozzles of product tube packaging. The shoulder/nozzles are made and oriented with the shoulder opening to be facing the laminate film. The film is fed to a station that forms the nozzle aperture, die cuts the laminate film to fit into the shoulder of the shoulder/nozzle, and inserts this laminate film into the shoulder/nozzle. The laminate film can be heat bonded to the shoulder nozzle at this station or in a subsequent sealing station. After the shoulder/nozzle leaves the station that forms and inserts the laminate film into the shoulder/nozzle there can be a detection station to determine if the laminate film is properly aligned in the shoulder/nozzle. There also can be a detection station after a subsequent sealing station. Shoulder/nozzles with sealed laminate film liner are then sent to tube making. The laminate film will have a polymer layer and a barrier layer comprising ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymers, polyethylene terephthalate polymers, polyethylene naphthalate polymers and acrylonitrile methyl-acrylate copolymers The tube packages produced using these shoulder/nozzles are very useful for products which contain flavorants, such as dentifrices.

摘要: An open fuse block is provided having a visual indicator or light assembly connected in parallel with a replaceable fuse mounted in the fuse block. When the fuse is blown, the corresponding visual indicator is illuminated to identify the blown fuse, thereby facilitating quick and easy replacement of the fuse. Since the visual indicator is connected in parallel with the fuse element, when the fuse is blown, the fuse results in an open circuit and the flow of electricity is rerouted through the visual indicator. The visual indicator is thereby illuminated and the corresponding blown fuse can be easily identified. The visual indicator or light assembly can include, for example, a neon bulb, light emitting diode, fluorescent bulb, incandescent bulb, or any other visual indicator that emits light.

摘要: A trash bag dispenser, for receiving a trash bag continuously joined to and separable from another trash bag, for receiving a trash receptacle and for dispensing the trash bag from the trash receptacle is provided. The trash bag dispenser comprising a housing for containing the trash bag and a cover having a slot therein for guiding the trash bag therethrough. The cover is movably connected to the housing and integral therewith for allowing the cover to capture the trash bag and to allow the trash bag to freely move when urged through the slot. A closure, comprises a snap button fastener. The trash bag dispenser is attachable to an interior of the trash receptacle with an adhesive backed hook and loop type fastener.
