摘要: Sensor based information from a base station is received by a configuration management device and is used to determine orientation, altitude and/or location. In some embodiments, the configuration management device compares measurement based information to corresponding expected values in a deployment plan to determine whether or not the base station has been correctly deployed. In some embodiments, the configuration management device uses received sensor based information from a base station to control re-configuration of the base station, e.g., re-orient an antenna or change an antenna pattern.

摘要: A mobile computer device establishes a wireless communication link between the mobile computer device and a first access point of multiple access points in a network environment. While wirelessly connected to the first access point, the mobile computer device monitors communications from a set of neighboring access points including at least a second access point of the multiple access points. The mobile computer device transmits performance information derived from the monitored communications to a controller resource. To alleviate a current load on the first access point, the controller resource generates control information to terminate the wireless communication link between the mobile computer device and the first access point and establish a replacement wireless communication link between the mobile computer device and a second access point.

摘要: According to one configuration, an access point control resource receives channel allocation information indicating a change to allocation of channels in a wireless band currently used by multiple wireless access points to communicate with multiple communication devices in a network. The access point control resource uses the channel allocation information to identify a particular wireless channel (such as a de-allocated wireless channel) to be terminated from use by the multiple wireless access points. In accordance with the channel allocation information, when vacating use of the de-allocated channel, the access point control resource controls an order of terminating use of the particular wireless channel by the multiple wireless access points.
