摘要: Various automation units for a premises include a sensor, at least two resolvers, and a plurality of models of the data of the sensor. Each resolver has its associated models which define how the resolver uses the data of the sensor. The various resolvers are an alarm resolver, a presence resolver, a climate resolver and a voice resolver. Other automation units are cognitive or proactive, and include a data base to store at least recorded events per controlled equipment, an event analyzer to analyze recorded events to find patterns of activation of the equipment, and either a cognitive module to modify the associated scenario of a piece of equipment if the patterns do not match the scenario or a proactive module to create a new scenario for a piece of equipment based on the analysis.

摘要: A method and a biomechanical parameter determination system (BPDS) for determining biomechanical parameters of one or more target objects in a region are provided. The BPDS dynamically receives first data including temperature data and/or motion data of target objects in the region from first sensors and dynamically receives second data including optical images, sound data, amplitude, and/or distance of the target objects in the region from second sensors, over a network. The BPDS filters the dynamically received first data and second data of the target objects and identifies one or more target objects using the temperature data and/or motion data of the target objects. The BPDS determines one or more biomechanical parameters including, for example, positions, acceleration, walking speed, fall, posture, etc., associated with each of the identified target objects in the region using the filtered first data and/or the filtered second data for emergency alerting and/or health assessment.

摘要: A stairway safety system and method including movement sensors and/or force sensors, a safety button, a central processing unit, a user notify device configured to generate audio or visual indications prompting the stairway user to engage the safety button, and a communication device configured to send a message requesting help. The central processing unit is configured to measure the length of time between detecting signals from the sensors and also to instruct the first user notify device to generate audio or visual indications when the measured time between detecting the signals is shorter or longer than a stairway user's actual or estimated typical travel time through the stairway. The central processing unit is configured to measure time and to instruct the communication device to send the message requesting help if a safety signal is not detected within a safety time period which indicates a request for help may be needed.

摘要: A system that monitors various conditions of a plurality of hospital beds located in different rooms of a healthcare facility is provided. Alternatively or additionally, other types of equipment may be monitored by the system. Various configurations of network interface units that are coupleable to or integrated into a hospital bed are also disclosed. The system receives data from the hospital beds and/or other equipment and initiates a communication to a wireless communication device of at least one designated caregiver in response to the received data being indicative of an alarm condition.

摘要: Provided are mechanisms and processes for monitoring an infant's emotional state. In one example, a system includes an infant monitoring hub that has an infant monitoring device interface and a hub processor. The infant monitoring device interface receives measurement data transmitted wirelessly from an infant monitoring device associated with a first infant. The hub processor compares the measurement data to a development model to determine if an emotional state associated with the measurement data reaches an undesirable level and generates a notification for a caregiver associated with the first infant if the emotional state reaches an undesirable level.

摘要: Provided are mechanisms and processes for a more effectively monitoring infants to enhance caregiving and infant development. A system may include a wearable infant monitoring device having multiple sensors, a transmission interface, and a wearable casing. The multiple sensors gather measurement data associated with activity of an infant. The transmission interface transmits the measurement data detected by the multiple of sensors to a remote monitoring hub. A wearable casing is configured to house the plurality of sensors and transmission interface. The wearable casing and the multiple sensors include mechanisms to determine whether the infant is prone or supine.

摘要: Provided are mechanisms and processes for detecting accomplishments of an infant. In one example, a system includes an infant monitoring device and a monitoring hub. The infant monitoring device includes sensors that gather measurement data associated with the infant. The monitoring hub receives the measurement data from the sensors and analyzes the measurement data in relation to a set of past measurement data. Based on a comparison of the measurement data with the past measurement data, an accomplishment of the infant can be detected. The monitoring hub then notifies a caregiver associated with the infant about the accomplishment.

摘要: A system is provided for aggregating data relating to infant emotional states. Measurement data is obtained from multiple infant monitoring systems, each including an infant monitoring device and an infant monitoring hub. The infant monitoring device is configured to gather measurement data for an infant and the monitoring hub is configured to process the measurement data. A development model is generated at a remote infant developmental analysis platform. The development model reflects a relationship between measurement data and desirable emotional states for infants at various developmental ages. The development model may be sent to a first infant monitoring system.
