    摘要: An edge-lit lighting device includes a light emitting panel (LEP), a first plurality of light sources, and a second plurality of light sources. The first plurality of LEDs are positioned proximal to a first narrow side of the LEP and are configured to emit a first light into the LEP through the first narrow side. The first light has a first intensity level. The second plurality of LEDs are positioned proximal to a second narrow side of the LEP and are configured to emit a second light into the LEP through the second narrow side. The second light has a second intensity level that is different from the first intensity level. The first intensity level and the second intensity level are set to achieve a particular distribution pattern of an output light emitted out through a broad side of the LEP.

The silicone layer includes an optic control pattern. The glass-based LEP is designed to receive light through the light receiving edge of the glass. The glass-based LEP is also designed to emit a portion of the light through the silicone layer.
