The instant invention provides a high-solid, solvent-free alkyd dispersion, and a continuous process for producing the same. The aqueous alkyd dispersion, according to the present invention comprises (a) from 40 to 70 percent by weight of one or more alkyds based on the total weight of the dispersion, wherein each one or more alkyds has an acid value of less than 20 and a molecular weight (Mn) in the range of greater than 1000 Dalton; (b) from less than 10 percent by weight of one or more surfactants, based on the total weight of the dispersion; and (c) from 30 to 55 percent by weight of water, based on the total weight of the dispersion; and the dispersion has an average particle size diameter in the range of 0.05 to 5 μm.

The plant watering device includes an outer container having a plurality of apertures on a lower portion of a first sidewall, an inner container having a second sidewall defining and open upper end and an open lower end, wherein the second sidewall of the inner container is secured to an interior surface of the first sidewall of the outer container via a fastener; and an apron encircling an outer side of the first sidewall. The plant watering device is securable to the ground via a stake. In use, water is poured into the inner container, flows through the open lower end of the inner container to the outer container interior volume, and then exits the apertures of the outer container. This allows the water to gently diffuse around an area where a plant is planted, while the apron prevents soil erosion and damage to the plant.

A secondary flow, turbine cooling air system for the uniform cooling of high pressure turbine module components such as the turbine shroud, turbine blade tips, turbine nozzle, transion liner, and turbine bearing support housing in a recuperated gas turbine engine is provided. The secondary flow turbine cooling system provides uniform cooling air having a similar pressure and temperature in a recuperated gas turbine engine as the compressor discharge air of a non-recuperated gas turbine engine. A method for uniform cooling of high pressure turbine module components using the secondary flow turbine cooling air system is also provided.
