摘要: An infinitely variable belt-drive transmission is provide with a D/L-range as one of operating ranges. The system has a transmission ratio control valve comprising a spool which is moved in the downshift direction to downshift the transmission and in the upshift direction opposite to the downshift direction to upshift the transmission. An actuator is provided for moving the spool. When an accelerator pedal of a motor vehicle is depressed at the D/L-range, the actuator operates to move the spool in the downshift direction and when the accelerator pedal is released at the D/L-range, the actuator operates to move the spool in the upshift direction.

摘要: A process for producing a hydrocarbon fluoride at a high selectivity with minimum formation of by-products is disclosed, which comprises reacting a hydrogen-containing hydrocarbon halide with anhydrous hydrogen fluoride in a liquid phase in the presence of a reaction product of (i) at least one of (a) an oxygen-containing compound selected from the group consisting of H.sub.2 O, H.sub.2 O.sub.2 and an oxygen-containing organic compound, and (b) a nitrogen-containing compound selected from the group consisting of NH.sub.3 and a nitrogen-containing organic compound, (ii) a tin compound selected from the group consisting of a stannic halide, a stannic oxyhalide and an organotin compound, and (iii) anhydrous hydrogen fluoride.

摘要: A belt comprises a plurality of metal elements. Each element has a pair of contact sides engaged with pulleys. The contact side is inclined at the same slope angle as that of the pulley. The length of the contact side is different from a length of a perpendicular opposite an angle in a right-angle triangle. The angle is equal to the slope angle, and the right-angle triangle has a hypotenuse between uppermost points of both the contact sides.
