摘要： An image forming apparatus includes: an image reading device for reading an image of a document to obtain image data; a data communication device connected with a computer for receiving an image data from the computer; a facsimile device connected with a telephone line for receiving an image data through the telephone line; an image memory for storing the image data obtained through the image reading device, the image data obtained through the data communication device, and the image data obtained through the facsimile device; an image memory controller for mediating an access to the image memory in a predetermined priority order for storing and reading the image data among the image reading device, the data communication device, and the facsimile device; and an image forming device for forming the image according to the image data controlled by the image memory controller.

摘要： In an image forming apparatus provided with an image reader to read an image on an image surface of a document and to output image data corresponding to the image; an image processor to process the image data; an image forming device to successively form images on sheets on the basis of the processed image data; there are further provided a post processing device having a stapling stand on which the sheets are placed and a stapler to staple at a predetermined position on the stapling stand, wherein the predetermined position locates at only a single side of the sheet placed on the stapling stand; and a stapling position selector to select a stapling position on the image formed on the sheets, wherein the image processor processes the image data so that when the sheets are placed on the stapling stand, the stapling position on the image formed on the sheets selected by the stapling position selector coincides with the predetermined position on the stapling stand.

The facsimile apparatus includes: a telephone number input section which accepts an input of a telephone number information for a destination; a dial signals detection section which detects dial signals to be transmitted on a telephone line; a comparison section which compares a first telephone number represented by the dial signals detected by the dial signals detection section with a second telephone number represented by the telephone number information inputted at the telephone number input section; and a control section which disconnects the telephone line based on a comparison result of the comparison section in case that the first telephone number and the second telephone number are different.
