    摘要： An image storage system effectively stores image data captured by an image capture device in a plurality of image storage devices. Each of the image storage devices includes a storage unit for storing image data. An image storage device performing as a master among the image storage devices includes an image reception unit for receiving the image data captured by the image capture device. A storage unit provided in each of the image storage devices distributes the image data received by the image reception unit provided in the image storage device performing as the master to the respective image storage devices so as to be stored there.

    摘要： In an image recording/reproduction method for recording image information on a recording medium by using a computer, a verify mode is set into the OFF state when recording image information on said recording medium. In addition, use as a write or read region a specified region of the recording medium which is greater than or equal to a unitary data size being handled during error correction processing to be performed when writing or reading image information on or out of said recording medium. Additionally, upon reading of image information from the recording medium, any image information that has experienced read errors will never be read again.

    摘要： The invention provides a circulating recording apparatus which can dynamically modify the capacity of a circulating recording area while holding a predetermined amount of recording data corresponding to the past. A single circulating recording area of the circulating recording apparatus can include memory areas distributed among a plurality of recording media. The circulating recording apparatus includes a circulating recording area management table composed of a plurality of table entries corresponding to the number of memory blocks constituting the circulating recording area and each entry includes pointer information for accessing the memory blocks and contents information of the data stored in the memory blocks. The data block write operation into the circulating recording area in a circulating manner and the data read operation from a specified memory block are conducted in accordance with the circulating recording area management table.

In a signature device (180), a mathematical function computing unit (190) repeats processing of calculating a hash value from a coupled value obtained by coupling together hash values calculated from each of the plurality of pieces of data to calculate one hash value (h), and calculates a signature value from the calculated one hash value. Then, a signature processing unit (189) generates, for one piece of data contained in the plurality of pieces of data, a signature containing the calculated signature value and a hash value coupled to another hash value calculated from the one piece of data before the one hash value (h) is calculated.
