摘要： A coupling system for detachably coupling an outlet port of a submergible pump to an inlet port of a discharge conduit is constructed by a single guide rail having at least two, and preferably, two guide portions extending along the length thereof, the rail being fixed at its lower end to the conduit; an arm attached to the pump so that it is guided by the rail; and first and second engaging means provided in the discharge conduit adjacent the inlet port and in the arm respectively so that the pump is held stationary when the pump is lowered and both the engaging means engage with each other. The whole system is made compact by arranging the orientation of the guide rail particularly when it is made of an angle bar. Also, further consideration is given to effect a line contact between the first and second engaging means to reduce the severe manufacturing tolerance necessary to achieve a satisfactory coupling between the inlet and outlet ports.

摘要： An improved grinder pump of the water immersed type is disclosed which includes a motor driven semi-open type pump impeller, a grinder ring fitted and firmly mounted in the suction port at the bottom of the pump casing, the grinder ring being provided with a plurality of axially extending grinding grooves and edges on the inner surface thereof, and a grinder impeller fixedly screwed on the distal end of the pump shaft to be coupled to the pump impeller in an end-to-end relation, the grinder impeller being provided with at least two axially extending grinding blades provided on the lower conical surface of the hub thereof so that any foreign material contained in the pumping liquid is ground or shredded into smaller pieces by cooperation of the grinding edges of the grinder ring with the grinding blades of the grinder impeller. A plurality of radially extending auxiliary blades are provided on the upper surface of the hub of the grinder impeller so as to perform additional pumping and grinding operation. The grinding blades protrude downwardly beyond the bottom of the grinder ring to provide the additional effect of ensuring to prevent foreign material in the pumping liquid from directly entering the grinding grooves from the suction port and foreign material is subjected to repeated shredding by the agitation of the grinding blades.

摘要： According to one embodiment, an interface apparatus for displaying a GUI object according to a position and a direction of a pointing object comprises a display unit, an image capturing unit, a detection unit, and an additional display unit. The display unit displays a movie based on a first image frame group. The image capturing unit obtains a second image frame group by capturing an image of a surface on which the movie is displayed. The detection unit detects a position and a direction of the pointing object based on the first image frame group and the second image frame group. The additional display unit displays a specific shape which is superimposed to the first image frame group, so that the detected position of the pointing object is irradiated with light of no less than a predetermined illuminance and the light attenuates according to a distance from the position.

A driven gear is mated with a small diameter portion of the main driving gear, and the state of an air conditioner is switched based on the moving operation of a cable through the gear portion, the main driving gear and the driven gear in the rotating operation of the dial. With this structure, it is not necessary to provide a rotary shaft as a member for transmitting an operating force to the central part or the dial. Consequently, it is possible to maintain a space in the central part of the dial. Thus, restrictions can be decreased in the case in which a knob is to be arranged.

In the method of asymmetric oxyamination of the present invention, an olefin, a chiral ligand, an organic solvent, water, a metallochloramine derivative, an osmium-containing compound and, optionally, a tetraalkyl ammonium compound are combined. In the method of asymmetric diamination of the present invention, an olefin, a chiral ligand, an organic solvent, a metallo-chloramine derivative, an amine and an osmium-containing compound are combined. In one embodiment, an olefin, a chiral ligand which is a polymeric dihydroquinidine derivative or a dihydroquinine derivative, acetone, water, a base, an oxidant and osmium tetroxide are combined to effect asymmetric dihydroxylation of the olefin.
