    摘要: Any air trapped in a connection portion between adjacent ones of flow passage plates of an ink jet recording head in manufacturing the head. The head comprises: a reservoir plate with a reservoir cavity for forming an ink reservoir; a chamber plate with a chamber cavity for forming a pressure generating chamber in which ink is pressurized; and, a first air passage and a second air passage, wherein the first and the second air passage have first groove portions and second groove portions thereof staggered in cross section, respectively, and formed them in opposite surfaces of the reservoir plate and those of the chamber plate, respectively, and disposed them in a peripheral portion of the ink reservoir and that of the pressure generating chamber, respectively, wherein: the reservoir and the chamber form essential parts of an ink flow passage; the groove portions are staggered in arrangement not to have their front ones aligned with their rear ones in cross section, wherein the front ones being communicated with the rear ones through through-holes, respectively; whereby the air trapped in the connection portion may flow in a zigzag course along these groove portions to escape to the atmosphere.

    摘要: An ink droplet eject apparatus comprises a plate-shaped member defining a conical ink droplet eject chamber increasing from an eject port to an opening, and a vibrating plate covering the opening. A spacer is disposed between the vibrating plate and the plate-shaped member surrounding the opening. An annular space is delimited by the spacer. An ink flow path is formed in the spacer. The vibrating plate is excited so as to generate an intermittent liquid flow of an ink W in the ink droplet eject chamber in the direction of the eject port. An actuator can arbitrarily control an amount of displacement of the vibrating plate and a generation time of displacement during the excitation.

    摘要: An amplifier section is supplied with an electric signal outputted from a light-sensitive detector. The amplifier section comprises an amplifying circuit for amplifying the electric signal into an amplified signal having an amplified level. A producing section produces a control signal on the basis of the amplified signal and a reference voltage. A resistor section is connected to the amplifying circuit in parallel. The resistor section has a variable resistance which is varied in accordance with the control signal. A capacitor section has a capacitor and connects the input of the amplifying circuit and the output of the amplifying circuit through the capacitor in response to the control signal.

    摘要: A protective layer of a refractory material deposited on a metal electrode layer of an oxygen sensing element is improved by a process comprising forming the protective layer onto the surface of the metal electrode layer by plasma spray coating the surface of the metal electrode layer, first with a refractory material powder at a position of a prescribed distance from a plasma spray coating device and at a prescribed electric power, and second, with a refractory material powder having the same particle size and composition as said refractory material powder used in the first plasma spray coating at a position of a distance greater than said prescribed distance and/or at an electric power lower than said prescribed electric power.
