The chuck portion, die, and holding mechanism are arranged to be coaxially positioned, for holding the front end portion of the tube element while the holding mechanism holds the front end portion of the tube element in which the plug rod is inserted, and while the carriage is moved forward, thereby allowing the die to draw the tube element.
