    摘要: A large diameter portion of a rotating shaft is supported by an opening in a front housing via a radial bearing. An outer race of the bearing is in contact with an inner, rear surface of the housing as a shoulder portion of the opening. The inner surface is forwardly recessed, so that a small chamber is formed between the housing and the bearing unit. The housing has a stopper projection at a rear end of an opening to which a shaft seal unit is inserted. The projection is axially projected to a faced front surface of the large diameter portion of the shaft, while a seal chamber is formed between the shaft seal unit and the large diameter portion. The seal chamber is in communication with the small chamber. A plurality of circumferentially spaced grooves for holding lubricant are formed at the recessed surface for forming the small chamber.

    摘要: When a rotary shaft of a scroll type compressor rotates and a movable scroll of the compressor makes an orbital movement around the axis of a rotary shaft by way of an eccentric shaft, refrigerant gas is supplied to compression chambers between a fixed scroll and the movable scroll. A first bearing rotatably supports the rotary shaft. A second bearing is provided between the movable scroll and the eccentric shaft to permit relative movement therebetween. A balance weight attached to the movable scroll dynamically balances the movable scroll during its rotation. A crank chamber accommodates the balance weight. A suction port is so provided in the housing as to communicate with the crank chamber, and permits the refrigerant gas to be supplied into the housing. A passage is formed in the balance weight, the eccentric shaft and the rotary shaft to supply the refrigerant gas into a first gap between the first bearing and the rotary shaft and a second gap between the second bearing and the movable scroll.

    摘要: A scroll compressor having a driving shaft 6, on which a bushing 10 and a balancing weight 9 are supported. The drive shaft 6 includes, at its end, a drive projection 6a, which is engaged with a driven groove 10a formed in the bushing 10. A spring 20 is arranged between the drive projection 6a and the bushing 10 for urging the latter radially inwardly to reduce the radius of the orbital movement of the bushing 10. A centrifugal force generated in the bushing when the drive shaft 6 is rotated causes the bushing 10 to be moved radially outwardly to increasing the radius of the orbital movement of the bushing 10.

    摘要: A scroll type compressor having a front housing, a rear housing, an intermediate outer shell portion arranged between the front and rear housing to form an integral stationary scroll element having a stationary end plate and a stationary spiral member, a movable scroll element having a movable end plate and a movable spiral element and being engaged with the stationary scroll element to define a plurality of compression chambers shifting and reducing in volume to compress refrigerant gas, containing therein an oil component, in response to an orbiting motion of the movable scroll element, a suction port formed in the intermediate outer shell portion to directly introduce the refrigerant gas into the compression chambers, and a discharge chamber in which the refrigerant gas after compression is discharged from the compression chambers. The rear housing having an oil-separating chamber for separating the oil component from the refrigerant gas after compression and an oil-storing chamber for storing therein the separated oil to be supplied to the interior of the front housing via an oil passage formed in the intermediate outer shell to cool and lubricate movable elements and portions of the compressor.

In a scroll type compressor in which a reinforced portion (for example, a large radius of curvature R) reinforced more than in other root corner portions 5 is provided in a root corner portion 5 at a central end part in which a stress of the two spiral members 10 and 20 is increased, a first relief is formed in a region in which the two spiral members 10 and 20 come into contact with each other where the reinforced portion is applied only to one of the spiral members 10 and 20, and a second relief larger than the first relief is provided in a region in which the two spiral members come into contact with each other at a portion in which the radius of curvature R is provided in both of the two spiral members, thereby reasonably forming reliefs for avoiding interference at the point of contact of two spiral members.

    摘要: An eccentric shaft 5 is radially slidably inserted in a bore 6a of a bushing 6, which is inserted in an opening 8c-1 of a boss portion 8c of a movable scroll member 8 by way of a radial needle bearing 7. An axial space 24 is confined between a rear end of a bushing 6 and a bottom surface of the opening 8c-1. The space 24 is in communication with the radial bearing 7 via an annular gap 26 between faced surfaces of bushing 6 and the opening 8c-1. A radial space 23 is confined between the inner surface of the bore 6a and the eccentric shaft 5, so that a limited radial movement of the eccentric shaft 5 with respect to the bushing 6 is allowed. A washer 21 for obtaining a fixed axial location of the bushing 6 on the eccentric shaft 5 is formed with recess 21b (first passageway 25) for communicating the radial space 23 with the axial space 24. The bushing 6 is further formed with a radial hole 27 (second passageway) for communicating the radial space 23 with a crank chamber R. A recirculation passageway for the lubricant is thus generated between the crank chamber R, the gaps in the needle bearing 7, the gap 26, the axial chamber 24, the first passageway 25, the radial space 23, the second passageway 27 and the crank chamber R.
